Everything seemed to be tight and normal.. Maybe I was expecting to much, but it was a very noticable difference from the P700 that I have currently hooked up.

If you do get a BTL and you have the space IMO you might as well go for the 18. Just make sure you don't skimp on the box.

The 15's would have more cone area... It's up to you man! What would you like to see in your rearview? an 18" or 2 15"? lol

It probably wouldn't make to much of a difference, but if you don't have either, that rockford would put out more than 500 watts for sure! Although it is nice to have the headroom from the sundown..

I finally got the time to hook the P500-2 up! It 'worked' but it didn't seem like it was giving the sub as many watts as it should have been.. Is that possible? I had it bridged at 4 ohms. Gain was set at about half.

Carbon fiber can be bought for 'looks' though too! I personally wouldn't spend that much just for the look, but it's a possibility, because it does look cool, imo anyways.

Well I eventually plan on grabbing a AQ 2200, but I've never ran a system with more than 1 driver, so I really want to have 2. So ~1,100 each woofer.

I agree lol that's so big for a 10" subwoofer, but if you're sure that's what they call for... more power to you. and 32 hz should be fine if you're going for some lows!
