  1. Found a tiny little website for anyone up here in Ontario, Canada. It seems really helpful, almost every local competition is posted up and will be really helpful for people starting to get into the competition scene. Check it out! The forum itself is still very small but very useful aswell! http://www.ontariobasssociety.com
  2. Awesome Thank you very much guys. Ill do my best to get my amp finally to a desired output. ^^
  3. Well which other forums Haha
  4. Where can i get -5db tones? And also, if i set my gains using -5db tones... If i ever go to a competition should i burp using the same tone? Or would i burp with a 0db tone?
  5. Thanks Impious, ill try the -6db tone, but now with the ear method. Is all you do listen for distortion and look for stress? Im not sure what else you can do.
  6. Sweet video man, glad your liking your new setup
  7. Is this a terrible idea? Iv set my gain using the way JL audio reccomends, and i seriously get little output with this way to do it. I basically need to turn my bass boost on my HU from 3 (where i orignally set the gain) up to 7 before i even feel likes my 18" BTL is up to the output my old 10's have. Tips for setting my gains by ear?
  8. That would be pretty spooky to find randomly.
  9. Iv just noticed something.... They could have used the stupid little snake scope to look through the port.. >.> God damn.
  10. They found a whole bunch of nothing, said they were sorry for taking so long atleast. Worst part was they took my phone so I couldnt contact anyone to why I was taking so long.
  11. Haha. Your one of a kind Stefan.
  12. This is the greatest thing of ALL TIME. Serious.
  13. Meh, its just a tiny hole.. Small enough for them to fit there little scope in.. Best part was, i was trying to pick up my speakers over in the US, they held me for over 3 hours and the damn building closed so i had to go back anyway, waste of lots of time and gas..
  14. Customs drilled a hole in my subwoofer box, nuff said.
  15. Alright thanks Impious, thought you might reply to this, you electrical genius you.
  16. I was fooling around with my amp today, turning up the gain gradually, and I was getting excited, sub was pounding a lot harder, and it didnt sound like it was getting any muddier or sound like it was clipping. But then i noticed that once i disconnected the sub and played a tone, the amplifier itself was making a buzzing noise. So i turned back the gain and it went away. I was wondering if this was some kind of built in clipping detector or something along those lines? Have you guys ever encountered something like this? Any info would be great, thanks guys.
  17. Nice job on the build sir. ^^ Gotta love the duct tape, and congrats on 2nd place.
  18. Yeah, 29hz is a little bit low for an SSF id put it up closer to about 32.
  19. Hopefully you just need to replace a rubber line then your good to go.
