I am the Founder/CEO of Car Audio Tournament of Champions™ (CATOC™) and a 28 year “12 volt” industry veteran who has “worn every hat” in this industry (minus full time professional installer). My passion is competitive car audio “sound offs”, especially on the sound quality (SQ) side of the “arena”.

One of my goals in creating CATOC™ was to bring back the fun and excitement that I enjoyed as a successful SQ competitor - “back in the day” - to the current and past car audio enthusiasts. Some of the ancillary benefits of competing were sharing a relaxing day with like minded people in cities and towns that I may not have otherwise visited. In some cases, I earned money in the process.
I thought, “Why not make that happen now? Why not make it possible for someone to earn money doing what they love? In fact, let’s “sweeten the pot” and make it possible to pursue a career in an automotive field that will stimulate the soul and make ones vacation a vocation.”
