WinISD help (port or no)
LOL, honestly I have no idea. I am new to WinISD. I think I might have it figured out a bit as I didnt have the right frequency for the Treo. I am learning this as I go. I am going to remodel the graph, but I think I got it where I want it. The TC sounds with a 1x6x18 slotted port gets me 108db @ 20 hz. The TC starts to bottom out at 15 hz, so I will more than likely be using the subsonic filter at 20hz anyway. I am redoing the calculations for the Treo and will repost a better apple to apple graph.

WinISD help (port or no)
So here's the deal. I have a Sundown 1200D, a Sundown 125.2 powering my setup. I will breeze over the 125.2 which will be hooked up to 2 sets of Polk db6501 components (2 ohm load) on each channel giving me a net of 100 watts to each speaker. I am building a CUSTOM box for a12" TC Sounds LMS-R sub. This sub can handle 1k watts continuos and 4k peak. I can wire this sub to be a 1 ohm load which is a load my 1200D can handle (giving out 1200 watts). I am trying to decide if I should port the box I am planning on building needs a port or not, and if so how long, size, ect I need it to be. I believe I correctly modeled the Treo TE sub I have now (in a ported probox) in the SPL image. Please note the Green line is the ported 12, the yellow is sealed and the orange is the Treo. I would greatly appreciate any help with this. Also the internal height of all dimensions is 6 inches and there will be a cover (with holes cutout for the amps) that will go over the amp section so it looks all nice and neat. I also will be creating a spacer of some sort since the mounting depth the sub needs (7.15) is more than the current height of the box (6 3/4). So as it stands the box is right around 2 cubic feet taking into account bracing which will be needed. So if I port, what size, length, etc. I really appreciate any help I can get on this.

Wiring 2 amps
yeah that will work but just use 1/0 in case if you ever upgrade more power so you dont have to go back and replace it I think after this upgrade I am done. I can run all 4 channels of my speakers from the amp and up to 2 subs. I wont need more (I hope ). Although I found a great deal on 0/1 gauge wire on Amazon I would probably want to use a different fuse since it looks cheap, but for 44 bucks I think I can afford it.......anyone have any thoughts?

Would 2 gauge work or does it have to be 0/1 gauge?

Wiring 2 amps
One of my favorite series... besides Lord of the Rings, & a couple other series I like . Planning on re-wiring from 4 gauge to 0/1 gauge and perhaps the big 3, not sure on that. Going to inquire with a VW dealer as to how much for a high performance alternator, since currently I am having dimming issues when my bass hits as it is and I am adding about 2x the power w/ the new amps..

Wiring 2 amps
I have a pretty basic question. I am looking to upgrade the amps I have to Sundown amps. I need to know if the current wiring will be enough and if not what I need to upgrade. I am having a authorized dealer install these so I just need to know what I need to tell them. I have the following gear: Car: 2001 Jetta GL 2.0liter 4 cylinder Headunit: Kenwood KDC-MP438U (3 sets pre-outs) Fronts: Polk Audio db6501 component speaker (max of 125 watts continuous), door mounted Rear: Polk Audio db6501 component speaker (max of 125 watts continuous), door mounted Sub: 10" Treo TE dual 4 ohm sub (500 watt max), mounted in a Ported ProBox Wiring: 4 gauge Memphis 2 amp wiring kit I am looking to add a Sundown SAX-1200D and a SAX-100.4D. Will my current wiring handle the new amps?
