  1. Agreed. I have multiple runs of 1/0 and it dropped my voltage to 9.4volts wtf. Then I switched and ran a single run of 8 gauge and bam 16.5 volt. Wtf. There has to be something wrong then... (or is this a joke ? because it seems like it) Running 16.5 volts on 8 gauge? I think its a joke ... XD you can run millions of volts thru 8 guage (no joke ) Damm really! i didnt know that. Hehe i learned some new today
  2. Im not sure about running it as your main batt. But if you wire both toghether next to eachother its better. Less cable=less resistance

  4. That should be sufficient... Try upgrading your stock battery if you can too. Definatly helps in the long run
  5. Wouldnt it be the same? Its a single sub... And you cant really bridge a mono amp...
  6. Wait. Is your amp reading 1 ohm or is it the sub?
  7. Yea but arn't too efficient XD
  8. I like the offroad look of rangers. Looks nice. I had a 10" hcca (my first big sub) haha i loved it. Bigger port will probably be louder? Maybe...
  9. You can use a multimeter or on the voice coil it usually says "D1" or "D2" written in marker you can see it through the vents on the basket.
  10. Yes Fi will help you. They have great CS.
  11. Sounds like you have it wired correctly. And clipping is bad distortioned signal. You dont clip by having your amp set to match your headunit's signal (voltage) you set the gains on amp with an o-scope.
  12. Hmmmm i know sa's are underrated. I wanna listen to some nightshades.
  13. My friend got a freshly reconed 15" Fi btl n2 for 350. You can get another btl and have 2...lmk if your intrested.
  14. How much power can those nightshades take? My hb got 2 dd 9518's but on 3k they give iff some funky smell
  15. Hey i just noticed its shorty!! Haha wassup man! You finally got your alternator!! Ill sell you my Fi Q 15's
  16. And you probably are cliping it. Set your gains right. And check to see if you have the sub conected right. It sometimes makes nasty noises if its wired wrong.
  17. I live in texas too and i have a fi sub and it kinda does get pretty warm. By the time your done bumping it might be hot as f... ! And bigjon is from san marcos texas im from austin. He has a lincoln build log on here. Look him up
  18. Try playing the sub free air and see if it makes any noises like what your describing. And maybe the sticker came off from the heat of the dustcap?
  19. ^^ groundpounder pro's are the shiiett! Great strong amps!
  20. Yea i said i wanted to be hitting around a 149 this year.....it aint happenin :/
  21. True...my friend runs one amp (3k watts) on 2 18s and then straps another amp for (6k) and only gains around 1.8ish db.i cant hear a diference...
  22. Ohh alright thanks for the help man.
  23. I sent the sub out...will UPS automatically notify Fi ? So my 15 can be sent out?
  24. Detroit Sound Solutions ? Wreckin Audio" Im not good for naming stuff
  25. If i were you i would go with what is in your liking/budget...If the amp you choose dosnt work out you can try selling/trading it.You will gain experience from that amp. Its car audio you learn from experiences hehe, either one of the amps stated will get the sub moving if the application is right.
