  1. Steve Mead on here also did 4 sa-8's but in a newer style silverado under the seat i think. tuned in to see how you like the box fitment and sound.
  2. Looks like quite a bit of work that was done to get things the way you wanted. is that black stuff on the metal factory deadner? Cool build
  3. I love Alpine headunits. good find!
  4. i made a box for a customer very similar to that one but the port was next to the sub facing up. These designs look and sound way better than under the seat crap. Your box looks good man
  5. Xscorpion has some good intallation stuff. Streetwires is by MTX if i remember right and is a bit on the high $ side.. For the power you are running 4 gauge is fine. Look for any fuse holders on ebay, dont HAVE to be the fancy kind. Or try Knukonceptz.
  6. Looks really clean. Never noticed the higher roll surround on the Z series Sundowns.
  7. Damm it makes me wanna run Fi again. Box/sub combo looks really clean.
  8. Damm.. Port Arthur looks nice i always thought it was like an oil rig city.
  9. Mayhem is my vote. Gets plenty low and is a monster on output. And for 300 its a good deal if the condition is good.
  10. Nice find! Didnt know there was old vfl's like these, they look beefy.
  11. Are your mids in an enclosure? Or IB? For the front stage.
  12. Build is going great! Did you use a single layer for the port length? Should easily do over 150's, maybe even high 50's
  13. I think you should get D1 ohm subs not D2. That amp wont play .5 ohms for too long if not at all... Mayhems for spl use.. Zcons for daily ground pounding
  14. Maybe its just people from another company trying to spread bad rumors about Fi. Ive ran alot of other brands of subs and ntohing has compared to an Fi subwoofer i.m.o.
  15. ^^ fuck that is one fine ass body!!
  16. I put in my second amp and for some reason if i change the phase setting i can hear a decrease in output... maybe try messing with the phase and see what happens?
  17. Ay the system hard an after a few minutes check to see if the wire heats up, leave the hood open so any engine heat wont factor in. I use to run CCA and would get warm after a while, happened to my cousin too hen he was running 4 gauge to a Hifonics Brutus 2000.
  18. Good chouce! Im sure you will be impressed
  19. I go for Cotto, but Mayweather is conservative and can win a fight by points easily... Paquiao will shut him down though
  20. I think so. He did 158.5 SB last year at the heatwave.
  21. They are DC Lvl 4 or XL 12's. I have a video of his explorer on youtube.
  22. 9 subs on 6 amps? How's that wired? Your guess is as good as mine but that's what he has.
  23. It would be nice to set the record with SSA subs There's another guy that runs Sb4 I think with 9 DC xl 12's on 6 Sundown 4500's, Allen Potter went from 3 amps to 6 amps and didn't gain much, wonder how your's will do with more power.
  24. Ive heard one of these amps. Running on 3 batteries on a single charging line if i remember correctly. It is expensive but i was impressed by how long it played music on the power supply it was on. It was a wall with a total of around 40 P1 12's.
  25. Oh God! I listen to 2 Sp4 18's at least once a week and I love them. (Friend's system) I would get Crossfire XsV2's instead of the Fi's. Sundown is okay, SSA has nice subs, never heard an Incriminator, Kicker just uses the suckiest glue on their surrounds.. Good luck with the choice
