  1. Depends on what you are cooking. Anything that is no stick or teflon coated should be thrown in the garbage. Not useful for any kind of cooking.Yes.I have an awesome 14" non-stick frying pan and it works beautifully for everything I need it to.
  2. It's never going to warm up enough here to melt.
  3. Love the idea of the class! We can all give suggestions, but you really need to go to a reputable dealer and handle the arms. Every gun is different for every user.
  4. I don't know where you are, but if open carry is legal, your options are limitless. There's no legislation against it in Indiana, and I have a nice Serpa holster I open carry with when in business attire. If you want a great IWB holster, I suggest Aliengear.
  5. I carry the PX4 in compact 40. It's a bit heavy with a full clip, but it's the smoothest shooting pistol I've ever shot. That being said, I am looking for something smaller to carry, and the Springfield xdmod is where my eye is. I had a Kimber Solo carry on order; I absolutely LOVE the feel of that gun, but it has some eccentricities that I don't care for.
  6. For real.I loose my ever loving mind when I talk to someone about "green" cars. The answer is diesel. Clean and high MPG diesel. Boggles my mind. "But but but the prius......" :Puts gun in mouth and makes sure exit trajectory is aimed at their head too: Amen! It kills me how they tax diesel and make it more expensive. It's cheaper and easier to make diesel versus reining petrol, safer to store and transport, etc, yet it's more expensive. I love the hippy move to electric and how "clean" it is, yet nobody mentions the toxicity of the battery plants.
  7. Oh no, not at all, a little Japanese manufacturor with a very limited line up, should be getting its doors blown off by GM. But yet, so much of GM seems to be filled with recalls and outsourcing now and little ole' Mazda is making lots of forward progress in their limited models selection. As for new vehicles, I don't even consider them anymore. I have been a Mercedes person from day one, through the years in the family, there have been far more Mercedes than any other. But, to clarify that, they are all older "don't make 'em like the used to" Mercedes. I am a bit spooked by the amount of complexity of new Mercedes. My Mazda bias is due a lot to their simplicity and lack of shit to go wrong, making them reliable and easy to work on/modify. My recent test drives of late have found new vehicles to be limited in "feel". Damn electronic everything. When I told the salesman the other day that I didn't want the navigation/back up camera screen and ball massagers, he looked at me like I was a retard.
  8. Vinyl or translucent black paint and clear coat. I don't know what you consider cost-effective though. Paint was my thought as well. Any estimates? Is that $500, $1000??? If you are doing it yourself, I'd imagine $350 given you have spray equipment. Duplicolor has a DIY kit, but I have no experience with it.
  9. That seems awful early. Ha, typical GM crap bullshit. Expected failure is near 100% here by year 5 according to the local tire shop. I don't doubt it after seeing the mess on the inside. This is also on a truck that shows NO rust on its underside and is kept clean. Clean for here anyways. GM doesn't build aluminum wheels. Many manufacturers have this issue with chrome plated wheels. I have seen it from Ford, to BMW, to Jaguar, to Chrysler. . . None of them are safe.
  10. He only served 16 days in jail lol.... The reason for me asking these questions because I just passed my handgun safety test and I live in California... I want to purchase a handgun bad but not if it means he would get 5 years mandatory minimum for just being in the house . You'll have to check with local law enforcement.

  12. I am done with the cold and snow. Does it ever end?
  13. You can only serve a felony sentence if convicted of a felony, so yes, he is a felon.
  14. We are getting a buffalo wild wings nearby...I heard they was good but never ate there. Other sports bars around they go for about 50 cents each I'm not a fan of BW3s. We have them here and Wings Etc. I LOVE Wings Etc! Their low cal plate is great!
  15. Just bought an 18V Ridgid drill/impact driver/radio kit from HD. Couldn't pass it up for $200, and my Crapsman finally took a shit.
  16. We have blizzard conditions here. Fucking Lake Michigan just kills us in the winter.
  17. Stickers are as rare as the poster.
  18. A carpet streacher is about the only special thing you will need..as far a skill if you can read a tape you should be good to go..Not quite. Seam iron, tucking and cutting tools, adhesives, you have to know how to read the weave, proper tensioning and stretching techniques, etc. You can install any way you want with any tools, but do it correctly with the correct techniques and tool, and you extend the life two-fold.
  19. . . . If you have the proper tools and skill.
  20. Menards will have shit cheaper than that. I got some frieze on sale for under a buck last year.Even cheap carpet is good carpet. Like audio, the key is application and installation. Get a good quality pad no less than 8lbs., and make sure it is stretched properly and seamed properly and you're good. Follow that with a professional hot water extraction cleaning every 6 months and it should last a decade or more. No local menards installs for me.Buy the carpet and pad from Menards, call a contractor to install.
  21. Definitely. Understatement. Aidan is in kindergarten and Tanner is a few months away from being 4. Nutso!!I spent last night going through all my pictures of Gavin. The time just goes by so quickly.

  23. You are always so mean to me...You are always hurting my feelings Dude, seriously . . . .
  24. You pushed it real good.
  25. Non stop snow again. The 8 hour reprieve was far too short.
