As long as the radio is not tied into the system and used for certain functions, like door chime, diangostics, etc, you will have no issues removing it and installing fresh aftermarket equipment.

Help with my Silverado sound system! Not happy with it. Advice nee
Move around your truck and tell me if the bass response improves. I am sure there is a cancellation issue going on here. Are you sure everything is wired correctly?

Wanted 8" sub and sealed enclosure.
I have a mint, slightly used JL Audio 8W7 anniversary edition and a pair of RE8s. I can build an enclosure for any of them, but it will be pricey to ship.

Electrical problems with stereo
There's no way the amp could be that much of a load on the battery. The problem you are having is aking to trying to start the car unseccessfully for several minutes. You are using about 500 amps every minute. It can really only be the battery, or at most, the alternator is not charging, but that will show it's head radio working or not.

Electrical problems with stereo
If you are draining a battery that quickly, the battery is suspect. THe test done on the battery obviously is falsified.

Methane gas literally will eat it. This us why cast iron toilet flanges fail if you use a wax ring with a plastic insert.

Shit, that's a Trepanier car? It's listed as a Torino, which it has the front end, but Fairlane rear. The roofline is more Fairlane as well. I should know, my first car was a 69 Torino GT.

I don't know. I google John Kasse Fairlane, and Boss 9 Fairlane and came up with nothing.

How much?wonder who makes that body That's all custom work. The only Ford part I can make out that is original line is the rear tail panel. It's got a Kasse Boss 9 which is about $30K for a cheap one.

MOTHERFUCKER! I had to take a detour today down a nasty ass dirt road and the fucking farmer had his sprinkler hitting half the road, so my car was a fucking mess. Just spent two hours washing it getting my ass chewed up by the skeeters, and now it's fucking raining like a mofo.

2nd battery... On a BUDGET
And I've seen them explode in sealed containers, so why take the risk for an extra $2 in hardware and drilling some holes. The chances of exploding a toilet from smoking on it are rare as well, but it has happened.

2nd battery... On a BUDGET
research leads me to the fact that is a battery designed for use in a UPS or battery bank. I would not suggest this for automotive use. It may work, but these batteries are not designed for the temp extremes and vibrations of the automotive environment.

2nd battery... On a BUDGET
You run a tube from the battery box out of the vehicle. Pretty simple. I've had several Mustangs like this without an issue.

They're fine if they're properly secured and vented.

center console talk - farming for ideas and tips
This is odd to me as I was discussing this with a technician at US plastics many years ago and they sell plexiglass and Lexan as one, while acrylic is sold and marketed separately. So who is correct? Plexi is the acrylic and Lexan the PC?

center console talk - farming for ideas and tips
He can use acrylic in place. IT's cheaper than PC also. They even make scratch resistant acrylics in any color or tint, and they're naturally resistant to nature and most chemicals aside from that which melts them.Plexi is acrylic. I say plexi as Kleenex is tissue. PC? As in polycarbonate? Yea it's about 1/3 more (at my wholesaler). And it's a bitch to buff. It is easier to cut however. No, plexiglass is polycarbonate or Lexan which is the GE brand name for polycarbonate.. It's more prone to scratching and not as chemical resistant. Acrylic is an entirely different animal.
