Used, but mint JL Audio 1000/1 and 450/4---$650 plus shipping. Used Planet Audio Big Bang 1400.1 and 4.150---$250 shipped Used for testing pair of RE Audio RE8s. These are the GOOD original drivers---$110 shipped. Lastly, I have some RF Punch amplifier boards I bought as a project. I bought some aluminum stock and drilled and tapped for liquid cooling without having to run a bulky heatsink. I never got around tocompleting them, so here they are 4 boards to use as you please. 2-P200.2s and 2-P325.1s. $120 shipped for all four. Of the 2 options you made the right one. You could have had a tripod, but even then, without a remote, it's still not ideal.Used the 50 right? Didn't even bring it. Brought the walkaround 18-270 and the Tokina 11-16. Shot most of the trip with the wide angle.I had to balance shutter speed, lack of light, glare off the water, and of course moving on a boat/train/train/bus. Just wish I had played with developing digital pictures before the trip. I did shoot some pictures by setting the camera on a ledge and such. Then I use a 2 second timer for the shutter since I don't have a remote. For instance, this 15 second exposure. I got better shots of the boat, but the rest have less of the museum which you can see highlights the lack of light. Can't tell in that pic though. OMFG, I SO badly want to go on that ship. That's fucking awesome!

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
You gotta blame that on the manufacturer and not the outlet. A smart manufacturer would have a good rep firm to dictate who gets to carry product without watering down the brand. They don't have a rep firm, those sites are approaching them directly.I understand your plight, but if they have the resources to do so in our capitalist economy, then what is the problem. I have to agree with Quentin. Rep firm or no, it's the manufacturer's responsibility. If Zed or Sundown don't want their products sold on other sites, it's up to them. Unfortunately for SSA, you're too small to matter in the grand scheme and we all know how people love a cheaper price. Oh yeah, I fully understand... whore it out is always > loyalty I don't understand this comment on all. Please expand. That's better discussed over drinks. How's the water in MD?

They have no affect on my living and in fact make it easy for me if they have something I want. I've purchase from them several times and they have good prices, service, and selection. Can't complain about that.

Using T-Nuts to mount a sub...
Those are very similar to what I use. I get mine from McMaster Carr.

Cablguy184's 1949 Ford Tudor Sedan
I see a lot of people using these setups for older, light weight cars ... But do you think they will support the weight of a lead sled ???Oh yes. No issues at all. You're not that heavy.OK ... Figured out what we are going to do here. Got the suspension lubed up at the Car Care Clinic the other day.Yes, I got down in the bay with them to make sure they got everything done correctly ... Man, what a difference !!!So for the most part, we will use the factory suspension setup. We are going to add power sterring and Air Ride from Air Ride Technologies !!! They make a complete kit for this (49-51 Shoebox style Fords) car !!! Kind of figured this would be MUCH better than to try and replace the front clip and or frame running gear ... Thoughts ???They make good stuff and know their shit, so I'd trust what they have to offer. You're not racing it, so no need to do anything else really.

Using T-Nuts to mount a sub...
I always use 10-32 or 10-24. No need for anything larger. I like to steer away from the brass inserts myself as they are too soft IMO. I prefer steel with an allen insert as well. The flat blade inserts are too easily stripped.

Sean probably has more knowledge in the actual physics of acoustics in one fucking finger than 90% of the members on this forum combined. I shall comment no further as it is pointless to try to reason with the unreasonable.
