  1. That will do.
  2. That's what I was wondering. I had 4 pulled, two were broken,GA, and only paid $500 out of pocket.
  3. The F150 5.4 I did had a 2 piece plug from the factory. Here is what my fil had in his http://www.summitracing.com/parts/acf-sp515/overview/make/ford/model/f-150 Those are for the 3 valve head. The truck you did was 2004 or newer correct? Matt has 2 valve heads. Hell even the 3 valve heads are the same. You can interchange them all actually. That's what the modular engine design was all about. Curious, are the intake manifolds interchangeable as well, or are they head specific? They are specific to the heads, but the 2 Valve head had two different designs and you can interchange them, although they do not match 100%. The gaskets make up for it though. Also, each engine size will be a specific intake. The 5.4 has an increased stroke and deck height, so it takes a different manifold. There are companies that make adapters though to fit the 4.6 intakes on 5.4s. That might be one (of many, I'm sure) reason I haven't seen any TVS supercharger kits being offered for 2v/4v motors. There are several. In fact, both Roush and Edelbrock's kits use the TVS. And they will mount up to the Cobra base as well. I'm not too sure about the Kenne Bell, but most of the twin screw guys don't much care about an Eaton anyways.

That's what the modular engine design was all about. Actually the design was about rapid low cost changes on the production line which by default of course means many common parts. It's all about money. Always.
  6. The've all had an issue. The original design only had like 3 threads on it. Stupid.

  8. Plugs are the same. Both engines use the same heads, plugs, COPs, cams, etc. I use MC or NGK, but use whatever you want. Champion is shit IMO though. And you ALWAYS want to use anti seize when mating dissimilar metal, especially aluminum.
  9. If you are losing 10lbs through the IC, Then that thing is WAY too small.
  10. It's steel not aluminum. DO NOT CUT THAT OUT. As Jon has stated, that is structural. I don't care what you read on the internet or what "expert" you talk to, do not cut that out.
  11. And then we broke up and I started fucking every hole I came across.
  12. Fuck that. I would still marry my first love in an instant and not think twice about it. The only woman I've ever been with who could make me disinterested in other women.
  13. Funny since that sub is all Chinese in the video. I don't get the trend with ridiculous power levels. What is the point?
  14. And where are the pics of the bride?
  15. You weren't supposed to drink the water!
  16. No. Not for a long time.
  17. Great tune!
  18. I'll be your first sale if they can ship it on the cheap.
  19. I told him we'll see how long it lasts. COuldn't pass it up though.
  20. I got $2 yesterday. Told my boss I was sick of the BS and he asked me if $2 more per hour would make me feel better.
  21. You should understand it all before you play with it. You played with fire and got burned. Sell what you have, recoup some money, and start out again, slower and smarter. And don't ask people for money.
  22. WIth modern oils nowadays, I wouldn't worry about it.
  23. Nevermind. Google searching reveals many tubes to be too thin to weld properly. Hmm. Never thought they were that thin.
  24. I don't get it. A weld, especially TIG will be far superior to brazing. Why braze?
