  1. And Jon, chill, seriously.
  2. You are correct. What we are trying yo do here is figure out why this on is unique or why we should buy it over anything else. We ate trying to learn about the company, the designer, the man. Does he know anything about driver design or is he like Kevin, just call up a buildhouse in China and slap something together. You get the point. Enlighten is please. You've been asked a few times and so far the only thing you've said is it has neo. Do you have a new patented technology like xbl^2?
  3. The power handling does not allow you to use a smaller enclosure, the smaller enclosure requires more power to obtain the same output as an otherwise more efficient (read larger) enclosure. So the only thing that makes your driver different is the neo?
  4. Actually, there is a manual. And i think you meant to type 0.875, but that is just a recommendation by JL. It easily works well in the smaller enclosure as I've stated. What is special about this driver that makes it worth purchasing? What does it do that other drivers can't? Sell me your product.
  5. It weighs 15 lbs, even though the manual states 17. Weight is not an issue here. It gets down to the 20s in-car in .65 cubes and only needs a couple hundred watts. I understand your point, but there's nothing special about this driver other than it's appearance, and even that is not special. It's just another chinese driver in an already saturated market, like the Sundown.
  6. The 8W7 is the king there and can be had for roughly the same price, has a HUGE dealer base for warranty issues, SOUNDS AMAZING, I can go on. IF you have to have an 8 inch driver with the most output potential, you buy the W7, and it does all needing less power.
  7. Or not.
  8. I'm a car guy. I know better. If I'm driving a truck, it's just to do things a truck is supposed to do. If i want performance, I'm driving a car. Camry fo life!
  9. Fuck that.
  10. Install, install, install.
  11. isn't the goal of car audio companies to make small packages very loud? i see amps getting smaller and smaller people doing 145+ off 2 sundown 8's 500 watt rms subs knocking rear view mirrors off i thought this is the future of car audio The goal of every company is to make money. Rear view mirrors have been getting knocked off since the inception of car audio when even a 100 watt was an insane amount of power.
  12. Now they can focus on rest.
  13. Be warned, the Makitas have plastic brusholders, and if you get them hot, they will melt and that is not covered under warranty. Now, with that said, if you are getting them hot enough to melt them, you are in need of a real drill, but either way, just some info. All my years in the construction trades, I prefer DeWalt.
  14. Okay, I figured out if I lie on my back, my nose no longer runs. However, it all drains down my throat.
  15. https://www.google.com/search?q=2014+porsche+911&hl=en&safe=off&client=firefox-a&hs=g8z&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=AXFTUfi4KaiVyQHjgoD4Cg&ved=0CFMQsAQ&biw=1366&bih=641&sei=BnFTUcCsJsrCyQGXoYDICg
  16. The new 911 is really sexy too and I don't much care for their continuing subtle changes.
  17. I've been up since 7:30 and gone through 4 rolls of TP blowing my nose. This is never ending. I don't get it. Where does all this shit come from?
  18. I'd not have given him the satisfaction. What wrecker are you running right now?
  19. So do I. So much so, I even thought about it for a bit. But I did the same thing with the FRS, then drove it, and came away less than enthusiastic as everyone else. So I am guessing this thing will be well north of $30K in which case it's pointless. That's M3 territory and if you shop right, perhaps even a 5.
  20. Well, they finally might be making an attractive Impreza. http://www.windingroad.com/articles/news/new-york-2013-subaru-wrx-concept-leaked-ahead-of-official-debut/?utm_campaign=Weekly+Newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_source=email-91
  21. Funny thing, nobody pays any attention to the little tugs that haul around these liners at the airport. I'd venture to say they have half the available power of any of these other vehicles. Fortunately for marketers, most people don't understand simply physics enough to understand these possibilities.
  22. 10k is a little optimistic... The 2013's are rated at 9,000 w/ a tow package on the big engine. I'm not quite calling BS, but I sure wouldn't be pulling it on that on a truck with a GVWR of only 7,200lbs. Compare that to a 2010 F-250 Super Duty with a GVWR of 9,200lbs and its only rated to tow 10k with the 3.7x rear axle ration. I have no doubt it can tow that 9k lbs on a nice day on a nice road, but stopping and when things get squirrely is when stuff goes wrong big time. You must not watch TV. Nothing beats the Tundra.
  23. That's about all you can do. Use what you have for now, but the fluid will eat through any tape and adhesive.
  24. Agreed. I hate new cars, and that damn thing just follows suit to it's exterior. Just a bunch of connecting lines with no real shape.
  25. What is a Soundqubed? Never heard of them.
