  1. Ah, I see.
  2. The whole thing is staged and Gordon is not the driver.
  3. And studs can't be used in most states, so this test does nothing for me.
  4. Meh, he could have eventually gotten up to speed on a normal AS tire.
  5. ahh i was thinking shower calk at first.. i have used ultra black RTV before it works REALLY WELL.. i used to normaly to mount my remote gains, plyable has a little give but is a bitch to get off !!! but it does let lose when you NEED it do .. good call thanks bro. Silicone is all pretty much the same. You can still use standard household silicone, just make sure it's 100% silicone.
  6. That vibration is no more than normal chassis flex that floor pan sees every day. Think about how well silicone holds a gasket in an engine with heat cycles, extreme temps and constant temp changes, elements, fuels, oils, and solvents, vibration and harmonics, etc. . . It's also used to seal enclosure gaps without issue and in that instance would be much thinner.
  7. Trade Percy Harvin and sign Greg Jennings? I don't get it.
  8. Use silicone. Clean the dampener very well with alcohol, then simply silicone it in place.
  9. What does the "supercharge" option do that it makes "more power from the same size driver?" It doesn't make more power. SC adds a neo magnet to the top of the pole (along with an aluminum shorting ring). So BL increases, Q goes down and due to a change in the response there is slightly more peak SPL around the tuning peak....not enough to really be audible, but it shows up on a meter and for SPL guys that's all they care about. For daily applications everything is a trade-off, so the increase in peak SPL is more than likely going to be accompanied with a decrease in low frequency extension and a less-smooth frequency response. SC isn't needed drivers designed for a specific purpose and goal for performance, and where those objectives were met with the respective design. I'm going to gander a guess SSA feels their drivers meet those objectives. Hey, who asked you?
  10. No sleep for me.
  11. Which ones, the V6 or 4 cyl? The 4 bangers are a lttle smaller. They look like toys.
  12. Happy Berfday Jordan! Sorry I missed it.
  13. Are you serious?! This is NOT high school and we don't need this bullshit on the forum. Keep it on the gay ass social networking sites.
  14. There are thousands of spot welds throughout these cars, panel crimps, etc. . . Should have no issues with grounding unless we're speaking of outdated vehicles made where car makes you.
  15. On the contrary, they are one of the best places provided you properly remove the paint. They have a weld nut on the back and are a large thick spot of metal. It is structurally superior to regular sheet metal. Think about it, they bolt your seat down there. I don't know what the fuss is about unibody vehicles either. In this instance, the entire vehicle is the chassis and frame. It is one large ground, unlike a body-on-chassis vehicle which has isolating body mounts and requires the body of the vehicle to be grounded to the fram via ground straps.
  16. Bracing is more effective and less weight, but double baffle is feasible and easier just to laminate a couple sheets together.

  18. They're actually not too bad. My 87 S-10 Blazer was actually pretty decent.
  19. You can haggle him down I am sure.I'll leave that to you.
  20. Mustang 2s are the biggest piles of shit. No way I would own one. On that note, I sold my Grand National yesterday. Why?! I grew tired of it. I spent the last 2 years begrudgingly putting it back together (rebuilt the motor and trans) and just didn't want to fuck with it anymore. I have other interests and hobbies now. Hell, I had it for 18 years now. It went to my son's best friend's uncle, whom we ride with quite a bit, so it isn't like it will be long gone. If I could find a really clean Syclone I might snag one. But I am thinking the money will go better towards building a nice MX built TRX450R, and maybe getting the wife a new quad. I think a TRX250 would be nice for her with the forgiving sport clutch. I've been looking for a Typhoon to daily drive for years. They're either junk or still too rich for me. Even when the market dropped on everything. They seemed to retain their value.
  21. He's about $2K too high and it's not street legal.

  23. They had some good tweets that were all the rage 10 years ago. Never heard any of their other offerings. That was a Ford.
  24. The 442 is the only one that can be considered a muscle car. The Nova was always a semi-compact. People just happened to get them cheap and pop in a decent engine. The Gremlin, shit I don't know where to go with this, but you really consider a Gremlin a muscle car? It's a compact might even be a sub.
  25. I don't know the max wire size in the terminal, but you really don't need excessively large cable. Of course, people think bigger is better, so you see people running large gauge cable. If you have to have large cable, but some 10ga. No fuse on the ground and you don't even need to run it from the battery -. Just find a solid metal point on the car, remove the paint, and secure it with a bolt. Then caulk over the ground.
