If you were aware how capacitors work . . . . Shit, nevermind.

Welcome to the IHoP
I use the clip on mine, and you're supposed to close it before placing it in your pocket.

I carry one of these on me at all times. I would suggest one with a knurled handle though. I really like the Craftsman knives.

self excite alt problems
You can't always see and hear belt slip. Your eyes and ears will easily deceive you as well.

self excite alt problems
Actually, it could be the belt. Could be slipping when cold, and once it warms up, bingo, traction. The computer would have no effect on the alt. It is one wire only, so it should have constant voltage.

Sounds like a bad connection or just faulty regulators.

We always used dryer lint for the Klondike Derby. I always keep a large ziplock bag just in case.

SO PUMPED!
How would you determine a prolonged period? I had a V6 Mustang that had a severe lean issue for over 40K miles. IT's still running to this day.
-
SO PUMPED!
Who's to say he will go lean? You have to understand how it all works. Diesel is a different beast from gasoline, and even so, simply upping fuel pressure or a simple reflash of the computer can supply enough fuel. There are thousands of power adders on the market for every type of engine and many of them do not include new injectors. In many cases the stock injectors are adequate. I have 200 watts of amplification in my vehicle, yet I have 1/0 power cable. If I want to add another 1K, I simply need to add the amp. Nothing else is needed. The same situation could be said in his case for fuel.
-
SO PUMPED!
People keep in mind the stock injectors do NOT run at their max. In pretty much every vehicle there is room for modififcation expecially diesels. Nine times out of ten, it's simply a matter of upping the supply and/or pressure to the injectors.

I could point at your dirt bike and say the same.

You are going to puke at the price of real grinders. Hard to find anything worth a shit under $250 Only an idiot would spend $250 on a coffee grinder, and I don't care how "good" it is--that's ridiculous. Quality tools cost money. Being a hobbyist, you should understand where he is coming from.

Same. On the topic of a garage, I have been gifted a '64? Fiat 1500 convertible, red, restored ~20 yr ago, sat in a garage since and rarely driven. PICS!

Welcome to the IHoP
I am partial to the Prestige APS units. I have installed 4 on my own vehicles, but these were all simple, older vehicles, pre OBDII even. You will have to find a way around the factory anti-theft and that could void the warranty.

LOL at Big Jon being PC. A tampon?

Yes, but eating that much of anything is bad. What goes in those and the non-sustainability of it make it even more disgusting. I have two cups of brocolli and a cup of carrots every night with my dinner.

I don't see an issue aside from having cat breath. If you get too much mercury, you'll know it before you do any damage.

The sander will be an air hog. I'd suggest at least a 10cfm unit. Expect to pay at least $600 new. You'll want a dryer as well if you are painting.
