  1. What's not red?
  2. Because the latter isn't one, or you got ninja'd? I certainly did NOT get ninja'd and all I saw were two black cars.
  3. Where's the Ferrari?
  4. It's not possible. They both use the same muscles and the neurons can only fire for one function at a time.
  5. EBC Yellow. As far as my research goes, the Reds have poor cold braking performance, they are a track oriented pad. Yellows are better all around. Yellows will squeal for ~500 miles (that's what reports say) and they are dusty. Fucker. I just ordered the reds about an hour ago. For the weight / power of the car I don't think they will be a huge issue. Sorry I was late: ( I was going yellow but Ryan asked me a rather logical question. Why so aggressive. From EBC's website they claim the reds are just fine cold or hot and they shouldn't be used on the track. It's their dustless. I ran a dustless pad on the M5 and it was just as good as stock for braking. If I didn't bed the brakes every now and then they'd start to squeal, but at least bedding is fun All EBC pads come with a coating on them, so bedding is not needed. Sorry.
  6. Why would you bump a dead thread that's aready been settled and add a useless post? That is the real question.
  7. How long can you wait. This holiday season is shaping up to be good with all kinds of possibilities. I can wait On the topic of phones, the W and I get to change up phones before the end of the year. Thinking about jumping on Sprint, anyone have any good/bad things to say about sprint? It would be for two smartphones, don't need huge data packages, I don't even use 1 gig a month right now. I had Sprint for 10 years. Well, NExtel, then they were bought out by Sprint. I had good service except in hick towns, but dealing with their customer service is an absolute nightmare. Go with Boost Mobile, which is Sprint's pre paid carrier, but they also do normal contract type deals and they have unlimited packages for $50.
  8. Order something from Grainger. They love to include air bags. Gavin loves those things. Huge POP.
  9. No, you raise your children strong enough to not let the words affect them. Fighting over words just makes you a bigger pussy and more childish.
  10. That is absurd. Words should beget violence????? I am done with this topic, I am obviously out of my wheelhouse not having kids. No Matt, you are correct in this instance and Chill is way overboard.
  11. You are the extreme here. Why promote violence? Children have no business fighting.
  12. In regards to technology, yes, but they don't know shit about taking care of themselves, anything about history, half can't do any math without a calculator. I personally think we are going backwards. We're just getting closer to killing ourselves and have mother nature purge herself of our destructive nature. I get the message but I call partial bullshit. They take better care of their health in many ways. Less incident of nearly every disease. Most of what is left is suicide or a culture epidemic. They are more informed about drug a abuse and sex. They are more socially intellectual in almost every way. For the most part kids come out brilliant genius'. We just fuck up that roll and ruin it for them. The people on this site are FAAAAAAR ahead of the average. Even the most ignorant person has a leg up on joe q public. And joe q public of today is leaps and bounds above what our grandparents dealt with. It is just the way it works. If we got slowly worse we would have died out a long time ago. Knowing how to solve a matrix without a calculator is pointless in daily practice. You need to know how so you can learn why we have a machime to do it. If someone blasted us into the stone age we wouldnt need long division anyway. We would have more immediate problems. When you learned how to do all that shit math in school it was needed. Because they didnt have disposable machines that could do it for you, and nothing when we were kids required anynof that kind of math. Now in industry from coding to engineering we need math like that to be precise on a daily basis. And since the long way takes too long it is more important to know how to run a machine. Thinking otherwise is like thinking that learning to put fuel in a car is silly when you can just raise horses. Have you spent any time around children, especially teens lately? They are socially inept. They can't communicate with each other at all without a machine. Two teens sitting 2 feet apart on a couch and how do they talk? They text each other. They ARE more informed about sex and drug abuse and they still choose to ignore it. That is stupidity, steps backwards. As for the machines, what will they use when the machines don't work? Ever go to a store or restaurant and you bill comes out to, oh let's say, $20.36. You hand the person $21.00, they plug it into the cash register, then you find a penny in your pocket and hand it to them. They don't know how much change to give you. They can't do anything for themselves. I could go on with this forever. Just like plumbing, what about when all the toilets fail?! Modern plumbing is the number one life saving factor in our world, but whay do we do when there are no toilets left. We should all take bucket pooping classes and train in them until we have it just right. You know that was an actual argument they had when the aquaducts and the later modern plumbing came around? When we have 90000000 ways to dispose of technology that does it all for us it is silly to fixate on the steps that lead us there. Appreciate, learn why, and move on. As for my dealing with kids, I worked in the school &park/rec co effort for low income kids. Volunteer with them. Used to also do groups annually. Was a nanny with 5 kids to watch also. MIL is a school worker for the principle at a local school. I get a lot of exposure. More kids play Instruments and explore art with tech than ever before. They communicate faster and articulate better than we could have ever imagined. Teen pregnancy is was down. Kids ODing is way down. School violence is way down. MN is a shining star for all of that in general but when I was in middle school I went to the school that "won" most violent school in the US.... I am not an expert, but I think that being pessimistic about it is silly. If things in general are getting worse we wouldnt have made it this far. And maintaining that people are idiots just because there is a tool to take over a time honored tradition is a bit silly. You have to see my point on that at least a little. I understand. Our opinions of good and bad or worse off, or however you want to call it are different, it's as simple as that.

However slim it may be, there are people who don't practice such. I didn't say all were, but a very large percentile is.
  14. Bullying is only an issue because the kids are pussies nowadays. They can't take anything, have no self esteem, feel like they have to look and act a certain way instead of being themselves. This goes back to the parents or lack there of. And then everyone is medicated because laziness is being excused as a disorder.

  17. Well, that's a no-brainer there. Do NOT buy Centric pads!
  18. Link no workie from my phone. That's why I listed part nubmers. 1) Is parts geek ok 2) Centric rotors ok I assume yes to both, but I don't buy brakes so often Centric rotors are okay for a Camry. Wouldn't put them on the Benz. Brembo should be OEM IIRC. Have you tried Rock Auto? Why are you wanting such an aggressive pad? I had the Greens on the Cobra and they worked wonders and that's their street pad. I had tried 2 months ago when I first searched and of course now Rock stock's those Centric Premium's and a Ferodo. I figured the Premium would be better. 350mm FR and 330mm RR so there aren't too many choices. As for the pads, the stock ones are super aggressive. I was hoping to get away with Red, never thought about softer. Have to last 12,000mi though so I can sell it otherwise I don't give a shit. Rock also has some cheapo's, but not sure I trust Centric pads, Juric, or Bendix. Have Raybestos for $30 though... I have Centrics on the Camry, but only because they were cheap. For my "normal" cars I like to use Satisfied products. For my performance vehicles, I like Brembo rotors if they fit, and Hawk or EBC pads depending on the need.

  20. What?
  21. Funny shit. . . As I'm scrolling down my page, this photo stopped halfway through. I read the ,"choo choo," and literally out loud to myself said, "motherfucker," then the picture fully loaded. Awesome. I am psychic.
  22. Those are useless once loaded in a vehicle.
  23. It just means you won't be able to lock your doors via the alarm.
  24. Extended range to "hit the lows" is easily attainable in a sealed enclosure. it does NOT require a vented enclosure.
  25. They think it's cool. It's a prison thing. You can't get belts in prison, so the pants sag. Prisoners come home, and their young follow suit and before you know it, it's a fashion statement. I have my own thoughts on it, but won't post them.
