Welcome to the IHoP
At least you don't have to deal with the huge corporate BS. When two of our guys got axed, I inherited their stores even though none of us are supposed to have more than 4 stores. I have 8 stores and one vacant building. Now I get twice the people bitching that I don't get stuff done and have to justify my work every day, and am held responsible for stuff I have no control over such as whether or not the store associates recycle cardboard or throw it away, or if the housekeeping crew actually does their job. The store managers are supposed to police all this stuff, but they never do so it gets thrown at us. Well I think this is the start of coporate BS. As we grow larger expanding into other countries we are getting more spreadsheet bean counters who are guiding the owners into making these decisions. I know at the end of the day it is business, but very sad to see good people let go when it has nothing to do with performance. It DOES have to do with performance, or lack-there-of. I'm sure you see them waste money in many other facets and this is one of many reasons they lose money. Sorry I ment their work performance. Yes people waste more money on silly projects that have to impact to the end goal of making more diapers. I knew what you meant, I deal with the same issues every day and I just had this same conversation this morning with 3 different corporate assholes.

Welcome to the IHoP
I have a large halogen spotlight I'd like to change out to LED. The battery only lasts 20 minutes when new and I'm sick of buying new batteries. Damn thing takes forever to charge as well.

I do love thunderstorms though.

Welcome to the IHoP
Ten years ago yesterday we had the tornadoes come through. Ironically, we are experiencing the exact same weather pattern as we did that day. Scary. We still have 13 acres of tree debris to clear.

Welcome to the IHoP
You will NEVER see a Supermod doing this shit, however, we can not control what the forum head (Kevin) does. We can undo things as you will see if you visit the Skar section again, but we don't hide shit. We will lock something if needs to be locked and hand out some whoopins, but that's it. No deleting here.

what happens if i install a belt that is abit longer than stock????
Do not change belt size. You can step down if you decrease a pulley size, but never go larger. You just need to move the tensioner further or pick another puller to slide the belt over. A smooth idler works best.

Yes, on the tip, or terminal per your photo, of the spark plug only.

Welcome to the IHoP
He could paint or dye it, but it would fade twice as fast. decided to just redo them in gray. no idea why i picked the tan color haha. sanding the flock/glue off is a bitch Try soaking them in mineral spirits. Be forewarned, it could damage the plastic. Highly unlikely, but you never know how cheap these plastics are.

here's some more shots.. very strange design coil pack, bank of 3 those rubber things extended down and covers the top of the plug. inside there is something like a spring, so NO wires. That's a very common design actually. The rubber parts are essentially the spark plug boots and the springs clip on the plug electrode. Each coil pack is directly over the plug for the shortest possible route to the plug. This is commonly referred to as coil-on-plug, although GM uses coil packs above like you have. Newer stuff is different, but you get the idea. You have a bad seal on the cam cover which is pushing oil past, and once pressurized, is pooling around the plug. I'd spray brake cleaner in the boot, or rubber part, to get the oil residual out of there and make sure you get a good connection on the plug. Also put some dielectric grease on the tips of the plugs as well.

2000 oldsmobile intrigue 3.5l.LX5 (shortstar), based on the northstar if that helps. these engines are known to burn some oil. i also have a small leak somewhere i believe. 194k miles and still running so i cant complain, i bought it with 118k. has been pretty reliable as well, very little maintenance besides some senors, 2nd time changing plugs, and the usual brake, rotors, and tires. Dammit, I always forget about the bastard Opel engines. Change the cam cover seal and/or make sure the bolts are secure.

I have yet to understand Stefan, why are you being such a hater? Not to sound like other people, but god damn. You relentlessly hate on this guy for no exact reason besides you see other people hating on him. This is rather annoying, you just follow the trail of hate regardless if you know it leads to anything. Kevin is a douche and deserves no better, so I don't see the issue. You've had good luck, good for you, but Kevin is of questionable character. Is the product good, perhaps, but not because of Kevin. We all know who designed the subwoofers, and we know the guy who keeps acting like he has the knowledge and ingenuity, has none. Okay I'll stop here, because really it's all pointless, but Kevin is a waste of space in my mind and the minds of others. We're all free to voice this, just as you are free to voice your pleasure with him.
