  1. It totally rewires your brain.
  2. Yeah, I want to buy a project for Gavin and I, but I need a different career path.
  3. If you EVER get a steam engine, I am taking a vacation to MN. I SO badly want to work on one. If I ever win the lottery, I am having one made to run a generator to power my home.
  4. I don't know shit about computers or the software, but I am running 64 bit and have no issues. I've loaded some extremely old and new software as well with zero issues. Actually, this is probably the most stable OS I've ever used.
  5. Not around here they won't. They get their tires from the Tire Rack. They do here regularly as well and still always beat their prices by at least $10 on the set. They always tell me they can't match them since they buy them there. Interesting. They are quick to fight them and guess what the shipping lables say? I don't doubt you, I just know I've tried around here and nobody will match Tire Rack.
  6. I live 3 miles from the Tire Rack world headquarters and distribution center. Since they no longer allow pick-ups, I have to have my tires shipped. We have two nearby UPS distribution centers;l one in Westville, IN, which is 35 miles West of me, and one in Hodgkins, IL, which is 2.5 hours West. The past two times I've ordered tires, they've gone from 3 miles away from my house, to Hodgkins, IL, to Westville, IN, to the South Bend branch, and finally to my home. The beauty of getting too big to function properly. They must be following the DC model. lol That's shitty, even a lot of larger companies will allow you to pick them up. That's crazy. They'll allow you to pick up IF you have a wholesale account. MY old man does, but it takes him two weeks to remember to call them, so I have to order tires a month in advance if I go through him.
  7. As odd as it was, the Gamecube controller was the most ergonomic ever imo. I liked it a lot. always loved the triggers on the GC controller.. i think i need to dust mine off and play some super smash bros Am I the only person that loved the N64 controller? Nope I did As did I.

  9. My cable on my old Taurus was sticking once and while on the freeway it broke. I had to pull the speaker cable from the amp to the front out, and rig up a little pulley so I could have some sort of throttle until I was fast enough to use the cruise control. That was a bitch.
  10. You do realize that 90% of the people who purchase their products will never see this.
  11. . . . After the music started yes, but typical of today's parent's, just let the kid whine then give him what he wants to shut him up. I know he's young, but damn.

  14. Definitely going to have resonance issues. I don't see the point unless you want them for aesthetic reasons, but they'll be hidden within the enclosure, so that's out the window.
  15. I wouldn't trade an Eclipse for ANY Alpine unit.
  16. We have no control over DC power and their business. I know that, hence why I stated the only one you have control over is your own.
  17. Would it do everything you need it to do? Never been in one, but it looks like the Merc would have more space. Why exactly do you need an SUV? Couldn't you get away with something like an M5 or E63 AMG etc? You can't pull a boat or sled trailer with an M5 or the E63.
  18. But how many satisfied customers have they had? You never see those guys making threads praising them. It's just human nature.
  19. Your wife can drive, right? Two panteras, two passenger seats are better than one back seat. Plus the way your kids are destined to grow they'll be front seat ready in another 3-4hrs anyway, right? NO, they'll be stuck at 4'5" for 3 years, then over their 7th grade summer, they'll grow another 2.5'.
  20. That has nothing to do with the mods. In fact, this seems to be an isolated incident. Yeah, they have their other issues, but nothing this bad. You have to remember there's always a bad transaction and could be thousands of good ones you never hear about. Unfortunately, DC dropped the ball on this and they continue to just let it roll and roll. So you have a 50-50 chance no matter what you do.
  21. There's nothing the mods nor admin can do. If DC can't fulfill their end, that's on them. The forum staff has no control over any of the businesses here, aside from SSA which Mark and Aaron own.
  22. Perhaps not, but you ARE a representative of the company and all we've heard from all of you is one excuse after another, and that's all they are no matter what you say or do. Next time, just say, I don't have access to the check book. Don't post anything about any of your other problems. People don't want to hear it. The simple answer is, you guys could not provide this customer what he ordered. Let's get the man his money back so we can close this thread and everyone can go on their merry ways.
  23. Just an FYI, you will see the holes from the screw heads in the concrete. Cover them with candle wax. I'd also caulk the edges of the mold as well.
  24. I need a blow job.
  25. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.
