  1. Shows design and ingenuity. It's the same concept that's been used in steering wheels for 60+ years.
  2. Give that boy a hair cut. I thought he was Tom for a minute.
  3. Have someone else do them.
  4. Damn, I get a gallon locally for $35 and have seen them online for $40.
  5. We NEED natural selection to come back.
  6. It uses copper rings as electrodes with spring loaded brushes. It's also not a gimmick to sell drivers, it's called welcome to the world of show vehicles.
  7. How can you drive? Your pedals are on the wrong side!
  8. I was just adding to your post, sorry. To alleviate the confusion, the carb could cause the engine to use more fuel on start up versus more modern engines. You were spot on on the wear issue, but even that will be negligible.
  9. i heard the same thing, something like ignition burns more gas than five mins of idle, but idk the truth. Not really true. However it could cause more wear and tear... but still not likely on the engine, but yes the starter. It may hold true on a carburetor, and an old one, but nothing built in the last 20-30 years.
  10. Never happen. By your logic, Mariano Rivera should be MVP ever year. Plenty of position players excelling this year, and the Tigers are in a WEAK division. Put him in the East and his wins are halved.
  11. Fucker, I still haven't made it to the sushi place. Drove by this afternoon and thought about stopping, but they were packed and they're pretty slow anyways.
  12. Your beliefs are your religion. None of us are without. Why does it become a problem when someone mentions God or Jesus?
  13. I'd pick up the Explorer, put the money from the truck in the bank and sit on it for a few years. The Explorer will be cheaper on insurance, cheaper to maintain, and it's a Ford. So not only do you get money from the sale of your truck, you can also bank the money saved on insurance and maintenance costs. You could easily have $10K in the bank in 5 years and by then, I'll bet you'll be looking for a house instead of a car.
  14. It's been said several times, but for your power level, you don't have enough vent. I love JBL, but they always list such ridiculously small vents. In their defense though, they designed the enclosure to sit in the trunk of a car, not in your home, so 9 out of 10 people will never hear the vent noise.

  16. Do you keep yours in a bomb proof bunker too ? It's a secret.
  17. Where did you find white velocity amps? Mine were black and I've never seen white ones. I thought you were running the design refs?
  18. I'm going to my parent's house tomorrow to pick up my stock.
  19. For some reason, I picture his buckets more, well, bucket-sized.
  20. Weekend special, $100 shipped.
  21. Screw that. I'll sell you mine. How much do you want to spend?
  22. Get used to it. It's embedded in our DNA.
  23. Have you ever heard one? I guarantee my 15" would put a smile on your face.
  24. WTF were they thinking??? http://www.ferrari.com/English/GT_Sport%20Cars/CurrentRange/458_Spider/Pages/458-Spider.aspx
  25. I'd rather listen to that anyday. That's true music to me. Is he staying with the blowthrough carb or plan to move to EFI later?
