  1. Only problem is whatever you use for a shim is likely to act like a bushing and it may never allow full clamping force or enough to not move. Personally, I would get a sheet of 1/16" ABS, form it around with a heat gun, clamp as hard as you can, then drill and run a SS bolt all the way through.

MY son sings that all the time, except he say's "peanut jelly butter."
  3. Your enclosure is a prime example. Subwoofers, designed by Jacob, built by the buildhouse. The only real hand Kevin had was a small initial investment and some creative marketing. The enclosure is 100% Kevin and what do you have, a POS enclosure. If you were running that business, would you really let that enclosure go out the door to the customer? It has YOUR name on it and it's shit, so that mean's you're shit. Put two and two together and what do you have?
  4. You're supposed to think you should not have ordered something from Kevin@ Skar. laughter HA! I'm pretty pleased with the VVX subs but the box he sent me is garbage, total pos. I had to seal it up myself (there was no sealant at all and some one-eighth or slightly bigger gaps on nearly every joint), terminal cup is barely held in, port sucks (1" wide) and the baffle flexes like crazy even with 300 rms subs in it getting maybe 100-150 watts each. I have no doubt the subs are good. Jacob designed them, so they're an extension of him. Kevin wouldn't have a clue on subwoofer design. He's a douche, always will be. When you scam people several times, get busted on it every time and still don't have the steelies to man up, you're worthless, and then you still continue to be a douche.
  5. I have celiac disease which is essentially a gluten intolerance. I can not ingest, or sometimes even come in contact with wheat, oats, barley, rye, and malt.
  6. This. Why anyone would base their decision off some video is beyond me, but whatever floats your boat. im not basing my purchas off videos...... im saying look at the flex of what 1 ssd can do. thats all man Pretty much any decent subwoofer on the market can do this.
  7. I have noticed more and more foods that are gluten free and they don't tast any different (at leastto me). Maybe Oreos will be next. Can I have your taste buds? I have yet to taste something that DOES taste the same.
  8. Fuck you and your ability to eat pastries! Seriously. I LOVE Oreos, and Gavin had some today and I about died just smelling them. This shit sucks!
  9. You're supposed to think you should not have ordered something from Kevin@ Skar.
  10. Then you need to buy some Kickers.
  11. I feel great today! So nice to wake up and see the boy again!
  12. On my quest to find Kokomo I found the fountain of youth a couple of years back. Shit, where's the bitch at? Kokomo is only a couple hours South of me. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=kokomo,+IN&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=0x881484347dab8df1:0x20b8b11ce9debd29,Kokomo,+IN&gl=us&ei=hS4zTuyxMq-DsAL1usSeCw&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&ct=title&resnum=2&ved=0CCgQ8gEwAQ
  13. Yep, I'm getting close to being an Antique! I went straight past antique and right intro historic.
  14. . . . And poor Sean gets another shitty QB.
  15. WTF Patriots? First Haynesworth, now Ocho?
  16. I hate that shit. Stupid smart phones.
  17. That's a pretty good price. IIRC I paid around the same price and that was 3 years ago.
  18. You won't find it at a local parts store. I've replaced a couple of them and could only find them at the dealer. It may be an obsolete part by now, so check Rock Auto also as they will have a replacement if the OEM is no longer made. There are millions of those trucks on the road and this is a fairly common problem as they age.
  19. Call Tousley Ford parts in White Bear Lake, MN. They will be the cheapest place, even with shipping. It will be a dealer-sourced part only. Of course, Rock Auto may have a Dorman part.
  20. Check these screws also.
  21. It's the linkage itself or the more than likely, the shift cable leading from the lever to the linkage. It's probably broken from the plastic underneath the dash and has stretched.
  22. Car doesn't need sanded. A light cut will remove the oxidation, hell, a liquid clay might even be enough. Follow it up with a polish, wax, then glaze and you won't need paint.
  23. Jordan, love the 'Bird!
