Erica can't turn though, and she's not as hot as Melanie Troxel. I still vote Sabine!

Need to give more information. Weight, tires, man or woman drivers? You know the drill. Please read the noob posting guidelines you agreed to when you signed up for this site. HaHa, sorry....... Now back to your regular scheduled programing. Which ever has the women driver will have a burnt clutch in the firs 20 feet so that car is out the race. lol Sabine> Danica <Ricky Bobby.

Why do so many people think AWD vehicles are superior in the twisties? I can't think of any situation I would rather have an AWD car over a RWD car, especially if I am racing it.

Let's use an analogy. You have two engines, one a large diesel engine with massive torque in a small power band and it does not rev much. You have another engine with not so much torque, but high horsepower and the ability to rev quite high. You put both on a dyno, see the power curves and all the specs on the engine. Now you have OBJECTIVE data. You can use this data to determine what engine will best be suiited for your application. You certainly don't want the high hp, low torque engine towing a heavy load in a heavy vehicle now do you? It's the same with drivers. Given you know and understand the specs properly, you can use these to find a driver suited for your application. You can also gauge how it will perform. What you fail to understand is we are not stating you can use the parameters to judge whether or not a speaker will sound good, as that would be subjective. We are simply stating we can use these parameters to gauge how it will perform and what applications it is best suited for. Surely, you could have an ideal driver in an ideal application, with sub-par source material and therefore have a not so pleasant listening experience.

I hope this isn't directed at me..... It's not. He is the head of the misunderstood, but think they have knowledge because their particular experience blinds them to the purely scientific and objective side group.

They are selling La-Z-Boy branded boxed furniture at Kmart. I have no respect for them. They also try to screw you. I went in there last year to look at sectionals. They were one of a handful of places where I could actually get a cotton fabric, not that damn microfiber bullshit. The sectional I wanted was on sale for $1600. I told them I wanted it, but in red. They said no problem, took me to their fabric selections, and 30 minutes later we had everything ready to go. We sit down for numbers and it came to over $2500. I had to purchase the sectional for $1600, have it shipped to a factory, recovered, shipped back, and treated for another $900. You would think I could just order one from the factory this way, but no. I walked right out the door.

Yes they do. . . . FORD. No maintenance? And then of course I was eliminating really late model cars and on top of that by fast my standards aren't so low. Amusingly, my M5 was unbelievable in that arena. And yes I would agree that the easiest way to minimize cost and go fast is to have Ford powah. I drove one of my Father's Mustangs for 3 years. During those three years, I went through 4 sets of tires, 30K+ miles, and numerous tanks of gasoline. Never once did I have to do any maintenance aside from changing the oil. The car had 70K on it when I started driving it and was on it's original clutch. It is still in the same condition this day minus the front end which it was relieved of by a stupid bitch who ran a red light 10 years ago. The car has been through hell and it just keeps going. I also know several 4.6 cars with over 400K miles on them never having anything more than oil changes and tune-ups, and a certain someone I know has a KB boosted Mustang who was told the car would never hold together due to the "high boost" on the factory shortblock and it has been abused and is still together also having nothing more than oil changes and tune-ups for the past 8 years.

The first one should be used for sanding. The second could be used for the actual glassing and painting, but check to see what filters it has and what they are rated for. I use charcoal and only charcoal as it will filter pretty much everything.- Welcome to the IHoP
