Welcome to the IHoP
You'd be surprised how antiquated MB is. Hell, it's only been within the past 10 or so years that they've switched to rack and pinion steering.

Looks like all that shit up in MN made it way across the lake finally into my fucking driveway. Tomorrow morning is going to be fun.

Parts are super cheap as well, so insurance will be next to nothing as well as maintenance.

These are really tough little trucks. Only thing I would be worried about would be suspension parts and driveline parts. Check for blow-by and and make sure the clutch is good. Personally, I think $2K is high as well, but if it's a nice clean truck with a documented history, I'd pay a little more.

Well, it appears nobody, even Mother Nature, can stop New England.

6.5 inch subs in doors!!!
Since I am a prick, I guess it's time I act like it. You see my quote above? Click the fucking link, read the fucking thread, now here comes the tough part, comprehend it, and put it to use.

6.5 inch subs in doors!!!
I personally wouldn't use a driver that small for subwoofer application in IB, but if you must, you will have to seal the front of the driver from the back as much as possible. Every little hole will need sealing between the trunk and driver's compartment. I don't know what you are trying to accomplish, but personally, I'd get a small driver, put it in then corner of the trunk in a sealed enclosure and call it a day. Simple and economical.

Don't bother. If you want to put them anywhere, stick them in the rear deck. Too many cancellation issues in the middle of the vehicle.

How's your hearing? Marginal at best, but I have sinus issues which affect my hearing. It's getting progressively better as the day wears on. I've been able to move around since the afternoon, but I still get some wooziness. I was cooking dinner and moving from the oven to the sink while bending back up was enough to almost cause me to fall. As long as I'm okay to drive by morning, it's all good.

Dammit, I have a bunch of snow to move and it's buried beneath a thick layer of ice. I hate the fucking weather around here.

Wow. Woke up this morning dizzy as hell like I'm drunk. Go back to bed for a couple more hours. Wake up the same way. I'm okay if I sit still, but as soon as I move my head, it's like my equilibrium has been turned upside down.

Definitely just food poisoning, thank god; I dunno if it was hard puking or the fact I threw up no less than a dozen times...figure 3-5 minutes per puking session that's 36 minutes to an hour of total puke time still gassy as hell; intestines started rumbling loud enough the dog started growling at me...cute What did you have? When I had salmonella last year it was nearly a week straight of puking and shitting no matter what I did. That shit came on quick too. It was almost as soon as I finished eating.

I need some help with a situation..
I hope not always. I've seen opposites as well. Yup. My ex is nothing but a bitch and her mother is wonderful. I can name countless other instances as well. Now if we are talking about physical attributes, that's a different story.

Replacing Speakers, what to choose?
Yeah I've changed the exhaust, I'm running close to straight pipes past the cats so Its loud as hell. Throw Coaxials in the rear deck? I've never used rear speakers, but if you find yourself wanting them, I'd just stick with the factory stuff in the rear. I wouldn't go crazy on this as I know how hard it is to make a loud car sound good, hence my suggestion for simple coaxials. I had straight pipes back to Flowmaster 2 chambers on my Cobra and I spent a considerable amount of time and quality components on the audio side to only realize I could never compete with the exhaust.

Replacing Speakers, what to choose?
I don't remember if you changed the exhaust or not, but personally I'd throw a decent set of coaxials in there and forget it.

IT's been 37 and raining here all day. We're down to a couple inches of snow now and tomorrow we're to have a high of 18. Ice here as well.
