  1. Just buy an '03-04 Marauder. It already has the 4 valve in it. Strap on a blower and you have instant 12s.
  2. Will Ferrel needs to be shot.
  3. Brad, any identification on the crossover components? Are they fused or bulbed?
  4. For me its hard to choose a top sport. i guess my list falls this way. 1. NFL 2. NBA 3. NCAA Football 4. NCAA Basketball 5. Soccer/hockey 6. Nascar/any car racing Baseball just bores the hell out of me! You find baseball boring but you can watch Nascar? Hurry up, turn left. . . Oh wait, turn left. . . Here we go, turn left.
  5. I LOVE baseball, followed by F1, followed by NHRA, followed by college football, followed by college basketball, followed by NFL, and that's pretty much it.

My "dad life" is nothing like that. Thank God!
  7. I only knew of him so I can't really say anything good or bad about him for me i really dont give a shit about the Yankees. If you can throw that much money at a team, then they better win. To me it's just an unfair advantage with a team salary like that. No other team gets close to the Yankees payroll yes I too am not so pleased with the lack of an MLB salary cap then again I almost never watch professional sports of any kind anymore so meh MLB has a salary cap, however it can be exceeded by paying a premium. Do tell. I was unaware of this. I'm sorry, it's not exactly a cap. They call it a "luxury tax," where if you spend over a certain amount there is a percentage that is taxed and distributed to the other teams. I'm sure you can google it and find out all the specifics.
  8. CONGRATS!

  10. 27 World Series championships. . . . 16 post season appearances out of the last 17 years, and 15 of those were consecutive. . . EVERY game, sold out. . 'Nuff said.

To me it's just an unfair advantage with a team salary like that. No other team gets close to the Yankees payroll Do you understand how much the organization makes yearly? With merchandise, endorsements, TV rights, ticket sales, etc., they make about 10 times more than their payroll. It's their money, they can spend it however they choose. They're not breaking any rules. All the other teams can do the same if they want to. You just have the extreme with the Yankees who do whatever is necessary to win, then you have the opposite end with the Pirates who keep getting top prospects, suck year after year, and then trade players away for more money. What does the owner do? ? ? He pockets it all. We all know having the best talent doesn't guarantee victory. The only reason they won last year was because they were finally able to come together as one unit instead of a bunch of all-stars playing for themselves.
  12. Some great plays so far though! RIP Boss!
  13. I've had quite a few "high end" amps that I liked, but I would have to say my favorite was an old Pyramid from the early 90s. I was 12 when I got it, so that would put it right around 90-91. I knew nothing about car audio, but I got this for free from my old man's wrecking yard. I remember my first car I had 3 sub boxes in it with 6 woofers wired all in parallel, since the only thing I knew was + to +, - to -, and it lasted forever. I gave it away to an ex in 2000 and it was still going strong. You could fry a turkey on it it got so hot, but it never blew a fuse, never broke, and never shut off. It was a noisy bitch though.
  14. I called my boss last week and told him I needed this week off or I was going to be on medical leave for the next 3 months. He agreed.
  15. He appears to have gained some weight.
  16. The Cobra brakes are quite capable of handling the job. Power has nothing to do with the brakes, anyways. It's all about momentum. Actually its a '96 GT with an '03 Cobra motor (and big ass Kenne Bell unit, obviously) and trans; might have swapped in the Cobra brakes too, I dunno...doesn't say It's got 13" rotors and the PBR calipers, essentially the exact same as the Cobras. Also has an upgraded master cylinder as well, so you can surely assume the brakes are enough to tame it. The next car I get, the first thing I will do is big brakes. The Cobra R kit on my last car was just outstanding. I actually found it more fun throwing people out of the seat than planting them in it.

  18. God bless the aftermarket!
  19. Whats wrong with that POS now? Fuel pump and 1-2 accumulator spring.
  20. Well, I guess I'll try to fix the Exploder today since I can't find something else to buy.
  21. Save your money. Rims on your car is the last thing you need being a new driver. Trust me, been there, done that.
  22. It wouldn't be a T-type or GN, so it's not like I'd be destroying the originality. I see enough LS engines in Mustangs, so it's all good as far as I'm concerned. And I'm a Ford guy, so it has to be Powered By Ford.
  23. Autozone has online repair guides. Should be as simply as releasing the tensioner, removing the belt and installing a new one.
  24. I do enjoy driving this van though.
  25. Going to look at 2 car tomorrow. Another damn cheap Taurus and an 86 Cutlass. Cutlass is supposed to be spotless. It's been sitting in a garage for 6 years and hasn't moved as the owner broke the ignition and never fixed it. Debating whether to flip it or use it for my big plans. . . . . Shit.
