  1. There you go. It may throw a code thoughl. OBDII is pretty sensitive to change and not easily adaptable as OBDI.
  2. Just because it's FWD doesn't mean it weighs less and has less parts. There are plenty of FWD vehicles that weigh just as much or more than full frame or unitized vehicles with RWD, 4WD, or AWD. Also, weight is no guarantee that your mileage will increase. I know what you are trying to convey, but front drive platforms were only developed simply because they were cheap and effective for the manufacturers.
  3. That's not for the emissions, it's for venting fuel vapors. It's called an Evap canister. Leave it in place.
  4. and less maintenance/manufacturing overhead Actually THOSE are the only reasons. Engine placement and driven wheels have nothing to do with mileage. Traction and handling in the snow is ultimately decided upon, most importantly, the tires, and the idiot behind the wheel.
  5. X2!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Not an expert on it but sanding it with 120-150 grit then use a solvent-based primer must be solvent based cant be water based otherwise it will cause the board to swell up, then paint should be the best way to do it . You're kidding right? Water base will NOT cause the board to swell. Do you realize the volume of water weight it would take to make any difference in the wood?
  7. Thank you Bill Murray!
  8. Matt2, wtf?!
  9. Have you ever turned your wheel in your car without it running while sitting still? It's tough to turn but it still turns. Once you are rolling and inertia comes into play along with air underneath the vehicle causing lift, steering is easier. You don't actually have power steering, you have power ASSISTED steering. The pump moving fluid simply makes it easier to steer. It's not a necessity. Have you ever seen a Jaguar XJR-15? It's a super car and guess what, it has no power steering. Power steering was an option on many cars until the late 80s. Only then did the manufacturers start making it standard equipment, and only because they had to.
  10. The Toyotas with this "problem" all have electronic assisted steering with an electric pump versus the standard belt driven hydraulic pump. As long as the key is in the RUN position, the steering will still work. Also, they used to make cars without power steering not too long ago. What did those people do? The only real issue here would be if they turned the key all the way off and the steering wheel locked.
  11. Would you believe that the entire ordeal is media-driven and there actually is NOT a problem with the vehicles at all? Don't ask me how I know this
  12. Got to play outside with Gavin today! He LOVES the outdoors.
  13. Next time do NOT post items for sale outside the Classifieds section. Thanks!
  14. Can not sleep.
  15. I've not seen any of those movies.
  16. Napolean Dynamite is one of the funniest movies ever, yeah no story line whatsoever but a classic in my book. " Your just mad that I sit on the computer and chat with hot chicks all day". You've dropped several notches in my book of respect. If you found any part of that movie funny, it's because you have the IQ of a retarded Chinese pig.
  17. Any Saw movie and Napolean Dynamite.
  18. Are you silver plating after you cut and drill? If not, you are going to have a corrosion problem if not using a deoxidizing compound. Also, where do you plan on selling these? An online store?
  19. Anyone can spend $20 on copper and drill themselves as well as cut straight.
  20. Oh no, there's sand in my vagina.
  21. Five words would have put that bitch right in her place. I think that was staged anyways.
  22. Daddy's home!
  23. Never had it. When you mentioned blue moon, all that came to mind was beer, hence my "wtf."
  24. WTF?!
  25. I have to build a garage. Hopefully, I can do it for under $1K.
