  1. What's the channel, and what's the show?
  2. So I'm sitting in a drive-thru yesterday, and this POS '94-'95 Mustang with the most fucked up body kit, rear wind, and a camaro SS hood pulls up in front of me. They go around, pull into a parking spot, and nail the gas to back out, so as to show off. Well, after I see them do this, I stick my head out the window and laugh at them. A second later, I see them get out of the car and pop the hood. I turn the radio down, roll the window down, and listen, and all I hear is, "tick, tick, tick, tick." Then they close the hood, and start to pull up behind me at which point I hear, "bang, bang, bang, bang." So they shut if off and push it back into a parking spot. I get my food, roll around by the exit, and look over to see them motioning at me. I roll over there and get out to see what they want. They ask me if I know anything about Mustangs, and I said, "yes." They proceed to start the car and ask me what I think that noise is. I told them I thought their throwout bearing was stuck. After explaining to them what it does, I told them if they get in the car and depress the clutch, then rev the engine all the way up, it will free the TO bearing. Well, the dumbasses believed me, and low-and-behold, ten seconds later you hear a big boom, and there's water and oil everywhere under the car. I shrugged my shoulders and told them I must have been wrong. Got in my car and left, but not before leaving them in a nice cloud of smoke. I went back by there an hour later and they were still there. They looked up at me and both of them flipped me off. That just made my day.
  3. I would eat every crumb of that!
  4. No Jon, we like you. Now if you typed AND acted like a jackass, well. . . .
  5. This reminds me of an old song..
  6. Perco has been outlawed for a while. When I was doing fire and water restoration, the only thing we could use was mineral spirits. I know it's not the same industry, but the cleaning principle was the same and we had to abide by the same laws. Of course things may have changed again. I remember when you couldn't find Xylene anywhere thanks to the EPA, and now I see it everywhere.
  7. I can't stand any type of organized fighting. Now, I love to watch his street fights.
  8. That's all there is to it.
  9. Got home from work at 5. Took a nap. Woke up at 8. Went back to work at 9. Got home at midnight. Here it is 2AM and I have to be up in 4 hours to go back to work. Fortunately, I make my own hours, so I don't HAVE to be in at any specific time.
  10. I miss my '84 Fleetwood.

  15. Remember, remember, the Jets in November. . . 2008.
  16. Are you serious? You made a thread for this? This was covered and over and done in the other thread. Now YOU come onto the board and do some stupid shit like this? What makes it really bad is you come in and give you opinion with nothing to back up your opinion. At least Shizzon has the passion and desire to try to learn and explain why he feels he's right. Guess how this thread's going to go. . . . . . 3 posts and you want to try and start some bullshit. Respect is EARNED around here buddy and you're not doing much to help yourself.
  17. Stay safe little buddy!!!
  18. GO YANKS!
  19. We can gain access to everyone who's viewed the link, but I don't know of any way to access who actually changed it unless CL made that IP available to us.
  20. Aidan or me? I was born blond. Now brown or super, super dirty blond. Everyone in my family had blue eyes. Aidan. I too was born blond and now I am having to deal with gray.
  21. I think he's a red head.
  22. Ha Ha! A little Sean. He's filling out well.
  23. ORLY? I suppose if cost was no factor. WHen I went shopping I couldn't find anything plasma @ 52" or bigger that was under 2k that I liked. I got 2 sharp aques lcds instead. Blacks, action, sharpness. The only bummer with Plasma's IMO are rooms with too many windows. Actually another bummer, only Panny & Pio make good ones and Pio is leaving the market. That's why I picked the plasma. I have a window that shines right on the TV and the LCD I had before was hard to see. My Samsung plasma is not affected by the light.
  24. A wet sponge is easier than sanding IMO. By wet I mean barely damp. Done that before and will never do it again. The sponge contours you your hand an wall. I prefer to sand to get uniform pressure throughout the joint and relieve the high/low spots at the same time. My basement looked great after primer. Once I applied the paint, every joint stuck out like a sore thumb. Thankfully 90% of them are covered and it's not a public room, so I left it alone. You are putting on too much mud if you get it to contour to your hand. Dilute your mud with more water before it goes on and treat it more like bondo. I would completely avoid sanding if at all possible. Also get a tile sponge, much easier to not push wrong on and don't use force just lightly go over it. It will work. If you have ridges and have put it on thick then you will need to sand and are doing a lot of extra work. I can't thin the mud or it won't set properly. Now, if it was premixed, no problem. I don't see how I can be getting it on too thick either. I scrape it 3 times before settling, then move up to the next knife ending with a 12". Any tips for getting it thinner on application?
