Pegged the governor in top gear? I haven't done that to any car I've owned in the past 5 years. No longer that stupid. 100 isn't really much though. Shit my boat does 79+ which feels WAY faster than 130 in a car. no thanks. 40 on water is fast enough for me. Then again, I've never been faster and never been in a really stable boat either. Never been in a damn boat. You can't live around here without ending up in one. There are lakes everywhere, especially being so close to Lake Michigan, and everybody knows somebody who has a boat.

YOu know, I listen to some of these athletes (college and pro) and they are almost to the point of being intolerable. I've pegged the speedo in every vehicle I've owned except for my current V6 as it just won't make it. Hell, I have trouble keeping it at 70 on the highway without it sounding like it's ready to let all the hammers loose.

The added width will add to your port length, but (assuming you're using 3/4" material) it won't be enough to audibly affect it. You don't have to do any 45s if you don't want to. The 2x2 will be fine and you can round the corners if you want to. Most of the questions you have are done by people to maximize the efficiency of the air excitement. Cutting the angles will decrease resistance and increase efficiency, but unless you are competing, you're not likely to notice.
