You need a new amp, or get it repaired. Make sure you have the 12V wire on the positive and not the ground as well. Does it blow even with the amp off? If it does, you have a dead short somewhere. Could be in the amp, or the wire. If it only does it when the amp turns on, then the amp is toast.

I think it's time to ditch my aftercooler and go with a front mount intercooler. This will allow for a blow-through and small gain in efficiency. Maybe I can drop a couple pounds of boost then and increase timing.
