The good 'ol days. I miss the car shows of the early 90s. Seeing walls of CV, Lanzar, RF, Kicker, and MTX with a bunch of Optis, US Amps, or Orion surfboards in the back was the shiz.. I remember an RF dealer touting the new Power series amps and how they ran so cool with the fans in them. BULLSHIT!!!! You could fry a whole fucking chicken on those things.

Love my Jasper Jigs. I used to make my own, but after doing a couple boxes they'd be ready to be remade, so having the Jaspers saves time.

I really don't know. I have 4k+ worth of amplification available in the house but I consider it all headroom, I have zero want to use it all. It's a necessary evil in home. You have a larger area to pressurize, and well, it's just more fun sitting in a comfy chair listening to a quality recording without having to overcome the shitty environment of the automobile.

Now, I loved every generation of the Mag, and for all intensive purposes, it sounded great off a couple hundred watts. I threw a lot more power at them, but only for short periods of time, and by the time you get around 500, good sound goes out the window to just blatant loudness. What's the point anymore? One would think differently, but I really miss my old SPL160s sealed off 400. Nothing I have come across has sounded better to me, but that only works if the rest of the system is up to par and you are actually using it for SUB bass. Maybe I'm getting old as there was a brief point in time where I did like to rattle teeth.

Why do all these idiots feel they need to send their subs thousands of watts?

How good is that Tiff stuff?? Any noise from your cables?? Also how is it per foot?? It's all good. NO noise from any cables I've ever used, even the cheap stuff. Don't believe all the hype. If you do everything properly, noise will not be an issue.

Look on Ebay for some Streetwires RCA ends. You should be able to buy them in bulk from someone. I have a ton of these things. I also happened upon 4-250' rolls of Tiff RCA cable and have been using this to make my own for every install since 2003.

Just picked up some RF Punch amps on Ebay minus the sinks. I have a crazy plan for these which will make for the ultimate stealth mounting arrangement.
