You need to re-install the factory weather seal. As it stands right now, you have a severe cancellation issue without the front and rear wave from the Boston being separate.

a 96 Dodge, with re-buld motor and tranny. I'm not sure how much or how little, but the rods they put in are shorter then the ones pulled out, and the pistons slightly wider. New cam, crank, and valves. All this was done prior to me buying the truck, about 2 months, But I have sense pulled apart the motor to see if they were lying, and they were not. It all looks newer then the rest of the motor. So you pulled apart the engine just to look and see if the internals were new? That was pointless as if the shortblock was rebuilt, of course everything was new. And why was it de-stroked? This equates to lower compression and less displacement even with the larger bore. Pretty sure whomever you bought the truck from has no idea what they are talking about.

THe K&N kit won't flow enough air to lean it out to the point of doing damage. even if it does, the knock sensors will pick it up and retard the timing and/or increase fuel. Also, you are not doing anything in the way of removing heat from the incoming air, in fact, you're doing the opposite with this kit. The only way to have a "cold air intake," is to have the filter elsewhere from the engine bay, or the box sealed from the engine compartment. The K&N kit does not do this.

How can they possibly say that when they brag about their superior $2000+ 200 watt amplifier? What $2000+ ? How about $4000+ ? I criticised the fact that in such an expensive amplifier there are mistakes on the pcb and they had to add some resistors here and there with point to point connections. If I don't brag, it means I hate. Are you shitting me? ! ! ! Last time I priced them was many years ago, but good lord.

Most paper nowadays is treated to resist the elements. There's really nothing to worry about with a paper or pulp-coned driver aside from the cheap shit that vehicle manufacturers are still using. Pretty much any aftermarket quality driver with a paper cone will last for YEARS. IMO, there is no better sounding cone material than paper. It's stiff, lightweight, economical, and aesthetically appealing.
