battery upgrade?
Try it stock and then see what you get. Personally, I'd do the alt before the battery. If you're spending $200, why not spend another $150 and just do it right? . . .

That's the thing about Craftsman stuff. It either lasts for ever or it dies quickly.

i thought u werent supposed to be doing anything? cuz of ur surgery or do i have ppl mixed up lol I wasn't but you know. . . I wasn't even supposed to go back to work, but no way in hell am I using my vacation time to recover from routine surgery. I got cleared today to go back to normal activities as I feel better, so I should be all good now. I already unloaded twice on the bitch's face so the day is going well.

Welcome to the IHoP
Just put a new intake plenum on my car. It seems slower, but I haven't driven it in a while and I didn't reset the computer either. I hope my tune is rich enough to account for the increase in air. Last night my buddy came over as I was just getting ready to pull it off. He wanted to hear it, so I put it back together and started it up. Let it warm up, then I grabbed the throttle and pulled back and when I got back far enough POOF, the intake pipe blew off and smacked my arm which then proceeded to smack my face. Guess I didn't have the clamps tight enough. It ran for about 10 second and the magical black smoke came out and it stalled. Good thing it wasn't a fuel line or I'd be getting that new shortblock a little early.

Personally I love the simple, utilitarian vehicles. Granted, I love my accessories, but to me simple is better.

Automatic ftw in this case ? I'd rather not drive it than not have to shift.

I literally saw the beginning to joke today. A mexican, a white guy, and a black guy were all standing on rickety wooden ladders with pole saws. . . .

Welcome to the IHoP
I love my job. Something breaks, I fix it. I get bitched at for spending money to fix it. So I find more things that are broken and need repair, but don't repair them because I'll get in trouble for spending money to repair them, yet I get in more trouble because I supposedly do not have enough work orders put in to justify my job, but I'm told not to put them in because we can't spend money to fix what is broken, but one guy comes in and sees the broken stuff and now I can spend money for repairs that we can't spend, but have to spend, but told not to spend, and then get bitched at whether it's spent or not. MY job is like living with a woman. I truly have NO escape.

What size fuse do you have?? Really, I would say wait a week or 2 for a BJ where you don't move. 3-4 weeks before you do any of the work. The man hammer is attached to the abdomen inside, so just be carefull. Small fuse. Less is more, and I wasn't planning on doing any of the work.

power wire vs ground wire for battery
1 aught carries 325 amps, that is sufficient. Except there's no current going through the ground wire.

I have the same problem, but only with car parts and audio gear.

I've had my own house before, and now with the woman. With my current financial status, the uncertainty of having a sustained income, and the fucked up world, I'd rather just rent.

Anyone have their appendix removed? If so, how long do I have to wait to bust a nut?

this company any good
Hell, there's a guy on here selling a KX1200.1 for $190. That's a good buy too.

THe entire chassis of the vehicle is your ground. Just run that same cable, or larger if you'd like for your ground.

Factory Amp
I don't recall Buick using any outboard amp, but I can't place the dash. Some GM vehicles were like this due to dash clearance, or lack-there-of. Usually the amp is mounted right under the dash and it's as simple as running some extra wiring a couple feet and splicing into the output, so for a shop, they'll mark up the cable and rape you on labor (probably $40-50/hr.), and you have your $120. He's better off buying his own amp and running that, but I do agree with them on bypassing the factory unit.

I had one where my wifey ran off without explanation, and wouldn't tell me where she moved to, and I went broke and life sucked. Really bad dreams for me recently. Are you guys eating before going to bed? I have to or I wake up like a baby and have to eat.
