  1. I haven't shit in 5 days, this gas they pumped into me is killing me, and the vicodin makes me sleepy for a couple hours then I'm wide awake again. Add into that I live with a total bitch and this is turning into an UGLY summer. Might have to sell the new wheels to buy another house. . .
  2. I personally hate flip down units. I wish they never came about.
  3. He wasn't being a dick, he was stating the obvious. To the OP, with that trunk, you are not too limited with what you can do. You have a vast amount of space, so depending on how much you want to use. . . Also, rap and SQ can never be mentioned together.
  4. It's cool. You just need to work on upgrading your amplifiers to some better quality gear. It will come with time. When I first started out, 100 watts was high power and it came in the form of a Pyramid amplifier, although they weren't too bad back then. Hell Pyle was an upper echelon subwoofer company.
  5. Do you mean as in tinning the leads? If so, no, just strip the wire, insert and tighten.
  6. Make sure to use Rain-X or a light coat of wax over the stickers. This will help to aid in UV blockage and resist fading.
  7. Why are you wanting to measure sink temp? Are you going to be running cooling to it, or shutting it down if it gets too hot?
  8. There is a kit like this and it is hideous. Needless to say, they didn't sell many.
  9. Brawn GP is a monster, and the boy's in Red are coming back to play. Red Bull is pretty sneaky too. This is turning into an awesome year in F1 aside from all the soap opera BS.
  10. I don't understand this. . . . Lewis Hamilton has amazing car control in the rain, yet he can't handle a slippery car on a dry track.
  11. I'd like to see those tests, hate to say I've seen the opposite all though it was years ago when I worked with a lab doing them. I've ALWAYS used RP and never had any issues with them. I wasn't really going to stop using them even after reading what I read. It just sort of piqued my interest, and then my buddy tells me he deals Amsoil, so I asked for some prices, and in comparison, I can't really say no. It's especially handy seeing as how most of my savings is going to be go to paying medical bills. Damn bastards!
  12. Not with the item, but I've dealt with Sonic MANY times. Good items, prices, shipping, and service.
  13. I agree 100%!!! It's their money; if they want to spend it, let them.
  14. No phasing issues. Even if there was it would be as simple as switching the leads.
  15. TO some extent it does. Just set up your amp/processors as if you're running them normally though.
  16. I think Pete's the only one along with Fox's own announcers, but I could be wrong. I figured it would be the perfect promotional gig for his new team coming in. I still haven't heard whether or not they've been approved to run the Cosworth. I can't see anyone jumping on that bandwagon any time soon.
  17. The guy I work with is an Amsoil dealer. I've been looking to switch from Royal Purple after reading some interesting independent lab tests. Anyways, I gave him and order for filters, oil, ATF, gearlube, and brake fluid and it came in under $150. Normally, I order this all through Summit and spend just a hair under $300. I think I'll be going this route from now on.
  18. Well hell, I don't know what my DVR recorded, but it was not qualifying. I found it odd that they were qualifying on Friday, but it was recording and I knew practice was over. Turns out it was something from last year. I knew the cars looked odd. This damn medicine is fucking me up on all levels.
  19. Doctor said it can take up to a month to heal, but I have great muscle structure in the abdominal region, so it could take less. He just limited any lifting to no more than 10lbs. That sucks about qualifying. I'll have to watch it online. The next 3 races are on Fox though. I hate watching races on Fox. They bring out all the needless little toys like they use for redneck racing.
  20. Could also be a cancellation issue. Even the slightest change in application can yield dramatic results.
  21. I had an appendectomy last night and they cut through the abdominal muscle. . . That's really the only pain I have and unfortunately with it being a core muscle group, everything is painful. . Did you watch qualifying earlier? My DVR only recorded Q1.
  22. Wire however you want. I wouldn't be too concerned about motor force or cone control.
  23. It doesn't matter. Just make sure you account for the displacement on whichever side you put them on. I would be more concerned about motor noise than cooling, in which case I'd install them in the traditional fashion with the driver in the sealed side. One of the main benefits of the bandpass was to hide possible distortion and lessen the need for a crossover.
