  4. But it's 5x a piece of shit in comparison and that's putting it nicely.
  5. I had one of these in my Dad's car back in the mid 90s before it got stolen. Was a great little amp.
  6. Al is like THE god of the 5.4, but there are a lot of great modular engine building companies. Most of them cater to the 4.6, but like the 302 and 351, the only main difference is the deck height. The 5.4 shares everything else with the 4.6 right down to even the camshafts and pistons. Rods of course are longer, but everything else is essentially the same. IMO, I would go with the turbo or a supercharger. Cheap, easy, and reliable. These engine respond very well to power adders. I like the idea of the rear mount Squires turbo idea. They have a universal kit, and I have a buddy who will weld the tubes no problem. I think all I would need it a tune then and maybe bigger injectors. You'd need to tackle the fuel system before doing the tune and during the turbo install. Depending on your boost and power level, also shortblock condition, I'd start out with 60lb. injectors, as large a mass air meter as you could find, and a good fuel pump. You NEVER want to run lean, especially with the powdered metal rods the modulars use.
  7. Tom, this is really the only surefire solution. We have this problem at all my stores and after trying everything else, the only thing that has worked was the spikes. They make a caulk-like material that you can put where they are landing and it will irritate them when they land and cause them to move, but it only works for so long. Same with the poison. Hell, we even went so far as to use a fake owl that howled when they came near and eventually, they learned it was not threat.

  9. It's rampant throughout all companies. I can tell you about thousands of GM, Chrysler, Toyota, Honda, etc., who all have bad regulator designs, and they usually all involve some type of broken plastic.
  10. They don't need it. They don't make the same power and still sell more trucks. . . . Same with the Mustang. What happened to the more powerful Camaro?
  11. And the best change would be a new president. No, a new government. The politicians have everything so fucked up. Of course it can all be traced back to corporate America.

What the hell Chevy? That thing looks like a Dakota with flares. The wheels don't really fit the truck at all, but if you like it. . .
  13. I shall frame it!

  18. This thread is really gay.
  19. They're the best flowing Ford heads, so many people are doing it. The 5.4 2V is becoming a popular swap in the Mustang world now too, so there is a lot of exciting stuff going on right now for all the modular engines.
  20. Bah, you just have to know how to use it.
  21. Send it Al Poppito. You really don't know the potential that thing has, especially with the new Trick Flow heads coming out. They outflow the current crop of 4V heads. How is that possible? I'm impressed! Do you have a link for him, I'm googling, but not finding. http://www.boss330racing.com/main.html Or [email protected]
  22. They cannot play under pressure. That's just how they are. Even Lebron kept fucking up last night. They're not ready yet.
  23. How about 2200+ watts for even less than that?
