  1. Where did you get your information from? Lot's of misinformation here. 1. First off, the alt's main job is to power the vehicle, then charge the battery. 2. It will NEVER output full current to just one component such as the battery, in fact, the electronics will limit it to supplying only what it needs. If running multiple batteries and one is fully charged, the alt will simply not charge anymore. No risk of damaging the other battery aside from the main leaking into it. That's where you'll have problems. 3. You can buy as large of an alt as you want without fear of overcharging, unless there is an internal problem with the unit itself. I could pick apart the rest too, but the my previous statements pretty much sum it up.
  2. Woke up yesterday to 50 and sun. Woke up today to 31 and 3"snow. Fucking Midwest.
  3. Cheap tint FTL!
  4. Found a car, found some boost. Now just have to get the car, order the boost and misc. parts and get it tuned. Wonder if I can limp the car to the tuner. That's a 3.5 hour drive. If all goes well, I should have some torque by June.
  5. I am super pumped, but with only a few weeks left feel rather unprepared. There is no real way to be prepared. Just have some bags packed and the cell phone on at all times.

You can get a decent brand-name alarm on Ebay for about $35-50. The wiring can be found on the net, so why not just spend some time and money and do it right.
  7. There was nothing wrong with the original Jackhammer aside from the fact it was grossly over-engineered, too expensive, and just too massive.
  8. Damn alarm. . .
  9. I installed an Avital Avistart 4400 today and I'm having a simple problem. I am just using the alarm features, so I did not hook up anything for remote start. Upon testing the unit, when I ope the door, it activates and the display on the remote shows door intrusion. I cannot get this to stop even after disarming the system. Do I have to have the remote start hooked up so it will read an ignition cycle and reset the alarm so my LED stops blinking and remote shows normal status? Thanks in advance.
  10. Fuck.
  11. I will only use oil based primer as well, no matter the room.
  12. Just get a Toto, they flush amazingly well. Large trapway and flush valves ftw Larger flush valves are actually not good. The reason water closets work so well is they flush by pressure, not gravity such as a residential bowl/tank setup. Large traps make little difference in effect as well. The pressure helps to create vacuum and "blast" waste away. Of course the best friend to the commercial toilet is the plumbing code. 4" waste line.
  13. PM Denim.
  14. Damn Vicodin is so weak.
  15. Well, if this guy accepts my offer, I'm running up to Detroit this weekend.
  16. Nope, The one before Stacy Dash was Melyssa Ford.
  17. That 95 Vert I posted last week. It's pretty much all done, and it's done right. Very reputable tuner did all the installation on the car, and it's priced right. Today I found another one I'd like that's bone stock and priced right, but I'd have to dump about $8K into it to make it how I'd want. Money is not the issue, but time is pretty much nothing here.
  18. I don't read Hot Rod. Too much Brand X. I'm not surprised though. A few months after they hit the roads people had them hitting 800RWHP and still getting 20+MPG on the highway.
  19. Ah, shit. Do I buy a car already modded, or mod myself with so little time. WTF?
  20. YAY for May babies!
  21. OH SNAP! When is big day, Must be pretty dang close! May 23 Well congrats! I better get my ass moving, your "free" (using it loosely) time is going to go down the drain. big sean gonna have a mini him..lol...congrats!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee And it's going to be 34"L at birth!
  22. VSS will cause the speedo and trans problem. The light problem is a ground. Of course the ground issue could cause the other 2 problems as well.
  23. HOLA!
  24. It can still use an enclosure. In fact, any driver can be successfully used in Infinite Baffle as well.
  25. No need to bump the thread. Really, you can pretty much do whatever you want. Depending on the drivers and your seating position, you can get away with a lot of things. I like the 4-10 design above and you can fit a lot of drivers in that space.
