  1. No AWD vehicle operates in front or rear drive. All wheels are always being driven, the ratios are simply mixed and with the computer controls now it's all done automatically. Granted, a lot of them are front biased, but unless you're racing the vehicle, it won't make any difference.
  2. That rectangular grill cloth thing is stock? I don't know if I've heard about anything stock there before. Except maybe with the reverb radio option which is quite rare. Sounds like you have to fit something in that area in front of the hinge, I have no idea how big it is though. But it does open up to the cowl vent area so IB is no problem. If his 'bird is anything like my Camaro, the parking brake pedal is right next to the kick so you can't really build it out at all. Unless that lower speaker area is out of the reach of the pedal... I have not had my own kick panels off, but I've heard they're a real bitch to get in/out Hope this helps. Crap. Have you seen anything installed there worth a shit? I saw a guy once who use either a motor or actuator to engage the e-brake on a G-body and it's in the same location on the F-bodies, so that could be a viable option. Might have been Gary Biggs now that I think about it.
  3. Sweet! Your as good as me, you leave to find a four door family car and buy a convert. Nice! Everything I found worth buying was sold hours or a day before I got to it, so I said screw it. The boy is almost 1 and will be facing forward, plus he loves to take everything in on a ride, so I figured I'd buy a older vert and have some fun together. No modular, so I can pass it on to him and he can learn on the simply stuff, and to be honest, I just miss the crudeness of OHV. The 4V was almost too smooth. It takes away from the driving experience.
  4. Dumps. This is going to be a nasty bitch, but I'm actually going to drive this one. Still not sure what I'm going to do yet. I want to do turbos, but my interest has been piqued lately with twin screws.
  5. Yours needs some side pipes. No way in hell.
  6. Got me a cruiser!
  7. Probably better off the way you did it though; less chance for interference.
  8. Could've picked it from the ignition or headlight circuit.
  9. Kent, I see no marks in the grass, so I take it you hit that thing balls to the wall?
  10. Ignition has to have constant, as do lights.
  11. No cig lighter?
  12. now this I have to hear long story short....i was responding to a fight call, the rear of the car stepped out, i overcorrected,(i think that's what happened) and at about 50mph (slowed down from about 90) i launched the charger about 15 ft down into a creek. it didn't swim very well, i got a concussion. no airbags deployed..and the charger has no front end. i've got cell phone pics that i'll eventually gt uploaded. and that's the just of the story, lol... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Glad you're okay! That's Chrysler quality for ya.
  13. Might finally have me a car! If I do, it's getting boosted.
  14. We should have a moderator whoring fest in here some night. Agreed on both accounts AND we should suspend the others' posting abilities so they don't fuck us up. Can't we just lock the thread so then only moderators can post? We sure can.
  15. That's an awesome analogy!

  17. I know there are some 150+ cars around here (South Bend), but I don't personally know any of the people. Most of them are running mainstream equipment of course, with a few running DD.
  18. Can't fit anything larger than 10".
  19. Fuck, I need some different subs. Totally spaced it that the CVs need a huge enclosure. Definately not going to be able to fit 3 cubes in the Stang, especially for a pair of 10s.
  20. Iraq? Afghanistan? North Korea? China? Canada?
  21. Save time and money and just buy a good set of headphones.
  22. I would consider close <30 minutes drive time.
  23. It's almost like an extension of the grill. I'd keep it if it does it's job. BTW, are you close to Laredo?
  24. I say lose it, but it's hard to tell with the grill being black.
