The Prius are in numbers far greater than the Hemi. Take what you will from that.

Blowing Fuses at the Distro Block
Something is causing a direct short to ground while in the vehicle and upon powering up. I've had several times where something works on a test bench, yet when installed, it does not. It's the most frustrating thing ever because it's simple to work on on the bench.

Yep, we're in a 4-story house and looking directly over the balcony on the top floor trips me out.

Awesome! My fear of heights did not correlate to flying. It was fascinating!

$100 is not a bad price either. Paint prices have doubled in the past few years, and materials and overhead add into that.

Do a search for mobile wheel refinishing. They come to you and are done in a couple hours. Powder coat is totally unnecessary unless you are in the harshest of environments. A professional will have the proper paint and equipment to have you up and running in a couple hours and with the right materials. It's especially handy if you have tires mounted on them. They just break the bead and paint. You don't have to worry about tire removal and installation fees, re-balancing, TPMS removal, etc. . .

I don't get you guys and these expensive phones. Well, maybe Sean because that could be his lifeline, but what do these machines do for you that a $100 phone can't do. I don't spend more than that and I only use a fraction of the capability of my phone. I just don't get it. I don't get any of it actually. Hell, they're not even marketed as phones any longer. It's all about the pictures. Just boggles my mind.

The condenser fan or main blower? Usually with a bad cap, you'll hear the motor humming.

I have not. I usually just use the Liquid Ice unless I hand polish, then I just use Meguiars.

Harbor Freight has a great DA buffer for around $60. Perfect for a beginner. Eastwood sells a great Norton kit that has all the pads, compound and instructions you need for around $100. These two will allow you to do anything from a color sand and buff to a simple cut and/or polish and was. Check their site for Liquid Ice. I've been using Norton products since my dad threw me in a paint booth 30 years ago. Love them! If you want simplicity, stick with a polish followed by a wax every few months depending on environment. If you want to go the ceramic route, it's highly advisable, but paint correction is necessary before sealing or else you will seal the imperfections below the ceramic. Ceramic also requires a respirator to apply. It has some nasty VOCs. If the manufacturer states you don't need a respirator, it's not ceramic, it's a polymer. The polymers aren't bad themselves, providing nearly the protection of ceramics, but not the longevity.
