  1. You would be correct.
  2. I run mine wide open on top and have the Neo3s crossed at 2100 with a 3rd order slope.
  3. Let me guess, it has metallic paint and you shot it in the shade?
  4. Until someone shows up with a Tatra. Or hell, a 'Mog if we have a requirement of fitting into a parking space And these are both practical.
  5. There wasn't really any car audio specific subwoofer that could handle 1000w back then. 1000w amps were over $2-$3 A watt Crankenstein's weren't rated for anything close to what they could handle. I jokingly bought my first pair to see how quick they would die. The fact that they didn't is what enticed me to buy more. The new lines look very similar to a few other companies basket designs. I would be hard pressed to pay anywhere near the msrp they have listed for the new lines now though. Hart had the cardiac series. I believe those were the first 1Kw 12V marketed drivers. Pyle, the original Pyle from Huntington, was great gear for it's period. They began a slow steady decline and eventually the new Pyramid bought them out. Pyramid used to be a very decent company in the late 80s, early 90s. I believe their Gold Series was their top-of-the-line. I had one of those amps for years and threw everything at it and it never faded.
  6. He's in Indy, so Plaingfield's a hop away.
  7. It's a great movie. Inspirational to say the least.
  8. You only need two out of three, the last figure's free. I remember that from my fifth grade science teacher.
  9. I watched League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and then V for Vendetta once the boy fell asleep.
  10. The only place you'll find a Mazda-based trans is in the 2.3 Ranger. None of their trucks use the Mazda trans, aside from this.
  11. How did you do that when they block off both sides of the street for quite a ways?
  12. He He He.
  13. Didn't get shit for sleep last night. I mean, come on! Why do they schedule night games at Wrigley? I don't care about the lights. They fill the seats no matter the time of day, so why do I have to deal with an 8pm start?
  14. "De PLANE! De PLANE!"
  15. Seriously, it doesn't take a genious to figure out that if Ford and Gm combined, they'd be the ultimate powerhouse. I believe that is the only way they can both survive.
  16. . . . As they inch ever so closer to their final.
  17. Don't use woodglue. It will never hold. Use a good quality contact cement and follow the directions.
  18. Can't say I agree.
  19. Nothing really, I just don't want a vehicle older than 5 years.
  20. You really just have to get it really, really, really hot and then wipe it down with oil. Not so sure that a standard stovetop will get it hot enough though. If you have a turkey fryer I'd use that. *assumes it is a steel wok and not a stainless one which don't need the treatment Of course it's steel. I got two of them before from the local college; they have a culinary arts class. They sell off all their unused utensils every semester and before leaving, they'd season it for me. I just have no idea what they used. I never asked them what they were were using, just what they were doing.
  21. 4 year old Audi compared to a brand new Dodge, I don't think it is too much to ask for good quality craftsmanship. If you are looking at the Audi, have you considered a 325iX ? No, I haven't. Maintenance money on the Bimmers are out of my range, and if I were to get one, it would be just RWD. My M5 and 328i were creampuffs for maintenance, cheapest two cars I have ever owned for that purpose actually. Yes, but I'm looking at no older than 04, so that's upping the cost considerably, and the M is parked most of the time, so it's not getting used much. I'm going to look at some Aviators tomorrow. I would just by an Eddie Bauer Explorer, but they're the same price as the Lincoln, so that's pointless.
  22. Speaking of Woks, anyone know a good recipe for seasoning one? I'm picking a new one up this weekend, so that will be my objective for next week. Man, I'm getting old.

We don't need pussies like you in the military anyways. Ha HA! Seriously, I don't understand this government. They stake a claim that our soldiers are the most-protected, best-trained, etc, yet they ALWAYS fail them after an injury, wound, or death. I have seen this shit too many times. Jordan, I wish the best for you and hope they do right by you (and all others for that matter).

  25. Sean, thanks for the info. So my test drives were rather uneventful as the past few days have yielded nothing but torrential downpours, so it wasn't the best for performance tests aside from testing the AWD systems. The Audi was very nice, but it has a quirkiness about it I am not ready for. Too many buttons and gadgets and no matter how I adjusted the seat, I could not get comfortable in the car. I loved the power and the Quattro, but all in all, not something I would buy. The Charger was okay. I really like the looks, but aside from that, it left a lot to be desired. I like it's size, and my inability to really test its performance limits sucked, but I thought it would be a little more luxurious due to its size and all its appointments. Fit and finish were poor, but I went straight to this from the Audi, so I may have been hoping for more. I don't know how they rate on NVH, but this thing had several annoying squeaks and rattles from both the interior and the front end. I did like the fit and feel of the interior. My only gripe is the C-pillars were a huge blind spot issue. I would have really liked to flog this on a cool, dry day. Now the Volvo I really liked. Like the others I've driven, this thing was dead quiet. There is no hint of 300HP what-so-ever. The AWD system was great, interior was great, it was very roomy, and drove excellent. I think these have the Haldex AWD system, and while it is nice, it seems a little too biased at the front. It could have just been the wet conditions and the TC acting up, but it presented a small amount of torque-steer I did not expect. Overall, this was my best experience of the day, but like the Audi, it has some quirky things I don't like. It must be the European influence.
