Sorry, I assumed it was fuel powered. Never mind my post then.

Just use the stock system. No added weight, and it's already tied into the alternator. With only a HU for power, it shouldn't tax anything until coming to a stop.
  3. How does your deck have 10" of depth? All G-bodies used 4x10s. My 85, 86, and 87 never had a deck that deep. Don't even think of messing with IB in these things unless you want to cut metal and remove seat material in rear. I've tried several times and it ends up being a bigger headache than anything else.
  4. I see stupid ass shit like that all the time around here. Worst part is, cops will drive right on by and not do a thing.
  5. Today was interesting. Tore up some old ceramic tile in a restroom yesterday. Upon doing so, noticed a leaking toilet seal. I shut the supply off and cleaned the area and put a fan on it all night to dry the concrete. Got into work this morning and removed the bowl from the wall. Noticed a small crack in the flange, but thought it would be okay. Got it all cleaned up, installed the new wax ring, bolted it up to the wall and as soon as I sat on it, it cracked all the way through. To top this all off, the backflow traps were not fully seating and I was getting residual out the waste line spewing on to the floor. I cap this off, go order a new toilet and proceed to laying new tile. Upon opening the box of tile, I pull back the cardboard and a broken piece of tile must have been stuck to the adhesive use to seal the box, and of course, it manages to slice the shit out of my hand. I immediately have a small pool of blood on the floor and run over to get some towels. I pull them away to check out the gash and well, it won't stop bleeding. I finally get it to the point where I can inspect the wound, and I see fatty tissue. Now I think I need stitches. . . I go let LP know, fill out an accident report, spend two hours arguing with my G-friend about going to get stitches, and finally end up spending the last two hours of my day at Med-Point getting stitched up. Worst part about the day was trying to get feeling back in my palm and pinky. I really hate that numbing shit. It's annoying as all hell and would rather they just stick the needle in and thread that shit with nothing.
  6. Don't see why not. I don't think it would have the greatest damping characteristics, but who knows. It's worth a shot if it's cheap enough. Your main question will be, how easy is it to tool.
  7. Do your rear seats fold down? I'm constantly throwing 8' dimensional lumber in my Mustang.
  8. I couldn't resist a reply. Something about the oddity of hilarity I found in that post.
  9. Should bumb pretty good. I know all my stuff bumbs.
  10. ack, gag. It's hard for me to believe somebody is going from a Cobra to an xB. Pretty sure that's never happened before. I could really care less about performance. It's all about making sure I can safely and reliably move my son around.
  11. Some also have an accessory terminal as well. This will be powered by either the hot or switched side.
  12. Also found this puppy and it's pretty intriguing. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ct=u...=&cardist=4
  13. Going to test drive and xB tomorrow, and I just spoke with my buddy that works at the Lexus dealership and he told me he can get the TRD parts super-cheap. Hello Mr. Blower if I buy one.
  14. It also raises the resale.
  15. So, my time at the Audi dealer was a total waste. They told me the Cobra was only worth $7500. I walked out the door immediately after and said nothing else to them. Left a nice pair of marks in their lot as well.
  16. Nice ride. Forget the wing as others have suggested. You don't need the down force or increased drag and with the wing being black, on a black car, it would be hard to notice anyways.
  17. so what is the main focus of having solenoids?..... to turn off everything on the out side? For battery isolation, it's simply as it states. For motor control, it's to handle the high current and inrush that the motor leads and brushes cannot handle. It's just a large relay.
  18. Power in, power out, ground, switched lead. Simple as that.
  19. I love how manufacturers are listing tire pressure monitors on new vehicles as options and using them as selling tools. They're a government mandate on all vehicles '07 and up. Morons.
  20. Make them.
  21. Progressive, and I was quoted $1300/6 months. The Volvo They quoted me $1K/6 months, and even the 04 S60R I looked at was $1200/ 6 months. I think for the most part it was becuase 1, the Volvo is a brand new model (C30), and the A3 is only a few years old, but shit. I have a perfect driving record, always pay my bill on time, never made a claim with ANY company, a few months shy of 30, etc. . . I'm half-tempted to buy another Taurus and enjoy the cheapness on every front and splurge my savings away on a set of twins and a stroker kit for the Cobra, but then what's the point in that when I don't even drive the damn car now. Have you tried things other than Progressive? That is absurd. My M5 is $450/yr, my wives Audi is $600/yr it sounds to me like you are being raped. Yes I have and combined with service, coverage, and price, Progressive has been my best bet for several years now.
  22. Eh?
  23. Goodnight! And in the words of Tony Kornheiser, "Goodnight Canada."
  24. Holy almost midnight Batman! I need to sleep. The boy is finally out, so I guess I can rest for a few hours now. I don't understand the whole child thing. Why is it that she handles all the input and I have to handle all the output. I mean come on. Does he really not shit until I come home? Why does he only shit when I am around? And whoever said breastmilk does not emit a smell on bowel movements has no sense of smell.
