  1. I am glad that I like to succeed, I don't quite understand wanting to be below average. Nothing wrong with succeeding; taking a big ole poopie on people who aren't on your level is what I was refferrrring to So by stating the truth I am pooping on people? If as a society we are severely under cultured for our social economic situation as a country it is better to just flop along and say differently? There is also a huge difference between calling a spade a spade generally and specifically calling someone out. By specifically of course I mean letting them know you are doing it. I wouldn't consider that a question; more like a statement to the current social climate in our country. Amusing since I actually think our level of culture is growing why our economic situation is getting worse. Considering how well off we are as a country though the average person here is pathetic when it comes to realizing what is really important in life. It doesn't matter what "we" think is important, our government does that for us. . . . "A Nation for the people, by the people," my ass. It never was about the people. It's always been about money and power. All of those things are WAY independent of culture. Yes, but it's the way of the country these days, and is a stronghold for evolving the culture.

  3. So I called about insurance on the Audi today, and NO FUCKING WAY IN HELL AM I LETTING THEM RAPE ME IN THE ASS. So . . . . I think I am done with even looking at something European until about 38 years of age. Perhaps if I had not just had a child, but damn they are out of their minds. On another note, I have been interested in the Scion xB simply for it's versatility, Toyota reliability, and utterly utilitarian attributes. It just so happens that my sister's man-toy has a new one and I checked it out today. I must say that for $16K, you really cannot beat this vehicle. Not the most attractive thing, nor performance-oriented, but I have 2 other Mustangs to play with, and well, to be honest, I really like the thing.

  5. What is the point in it? I watch the games on TV and need no more. What will Fantasy do for someone like me? ? ? Nothing other than take up precious time I don't have. Knocking something you haven't tried, eh? Not knocking it, just stating why I am not interested. It'll make you like football and waste more of your time, I was just trying to convince you to do it. I love football, college more so than NFL, but I have no time, nor desire to delve any further into the sport aside from watching it on TV.
  6. Is the Pantera on hold? I can't drive a Pantera in a MN winter...and yes I was proposing above that I would drive the 456; however, the big difference is of course not being a 30 yr old piece of metal. The Pantera probably won't happen at this point in my life. If I had a 5 car garage, I'd alter that thought. I still want one bad, but the tinkerer in me isn't as excited about them. Of course if I wasn't so vertically challenged I would overlook all of that. I have a 12 car storage facility you can use at your disposal.

  8. They're made by PA, and just like any cheap product, they will work fine if done properly. Believe it or not, my buddy had a pair in his Camaro and they actually worked well until he decided to move the gain knob past the setting I told him to. They are made to make noise and nothing more. They won't handle near the power they claim; cut it by 60% to be safe, and well, they just sound like stink no matter what you do. BUT, they are cheap and they are plentiful, so. . . . Personally, I'd rather spend my money on toilet paper as it's a much more worthwhile investment, especially in a multi-ply super soft variety, but if it weren't my money, I'd care less.

  10. Something is wrong with your foot then. Lower octane should always yield better mileage and more power provided the vehicle can run on it. It may just be that is was designed/programmed to run on premium and you're now learning that. Higher octane gasoline has less energy and is harder to burn as well.
  11. very nice so the guy who was buyin the cobra fell through i guess what kind of audi is it? i love the headlights with the LEDs S3 sportsback... I didn't think they brought the S3 to the US. What engine does it have in Europe? 2.0 turbo. 265hp Shit, the A3 here has the turbo 2.0 with 200HP, and the 3.2 with 250Hp The lowest S-series here is the S4 and it has the 340HP 4.2
  12. very nice so the guy who was buyin the cobra fell through i guess what kind of audi is it? i love the headlights with the LEDs That's the A3.
  13. Test drove one of these today and LOVED it! Taking the Cobra in on Tuesday so they can value it as a trade and checking on insurance costs.
  14. You don't watch F1 racing or keep up much on European automotive designers do you?
  15. Beautiful car! Never underestimate any thief! They will do what they need to to get what they want.
  16. And I'm starting to get sick of a lot of the bullshit I'm continually seeing on car audio forums and from certain "manufacturers."
  17. And I am fucking sick of car shopping!!!! And I'm sick of someone telling me they are buying my car and everything's in order, and yadda, yadda, yadda. . . .
  18. Shit, I haven't had any pussy since March, and I used to well, everyone knows my stories. . . I still can't bring myself to stick it to the woman, and I can't seem to be able to screw another chick either knowing the mother of my child is waiting at home. Damn this shit.
  19. She talks. . .
  20. Time is getting shorter and shorter.
  21. Man that sounds backwards to me, ha. RWD is the worst for the winter IMO. 4WD is so nice for the winter, especially when there is packed snow on the ground. You don't have to worry about the rear end sliding around you on corners on a RWD or the front tires just skidding straight instead of turning on a FWD. But those usually only happened if you gave it too much gas during the turn. All my previous cars were FWD and I did all right, but my Explorer is 4WD and you can just flip it on and not have to worry about a thing. I plowed through 10-12" of fresh snow on the lawn at my grandparent's farm and it was so fun and never even hinted at getting stuck. No way I could have even tried that in my old car. Every car I've driven in the winter has been RWD except for two. MY old Taurus of course. It did well, but I don't like the pull especially in slush. The vehicle just seemed to track wherever there was a rut. Same with packed snow actually. As for 4WD, well, I had an old S10 blazer years ago and when in 4WD, well, let's just say it was far scarier than 2WD. It was as if the front wanted to go one way while the rear went another. For me, in the winter, the best vehicles have been heavy RWD cars. Between a Cadillac, Cutlass, and T-Bird with 500lbs of stereo equipment in the trunk, I've had the best winters in these vehicles.
  22. it's actually not a T-47 bolt, it's something completely unique that GM came up with the best way to handle them is to hammer the T-47 in nice n snug though GM and Ford never cease to amaze me. I love their metric-headed SAE bolts. Nothing like needing a metric wrench for standard bolts.
  23. Explorers are super-cheap right now. Work pays for my fuel and then some, so I'm not worried about fuel economy. 4WD would be handy around here in the winter months, but I am not a fan of it. I prefer a RWD car in the winter as most of my experience in winter comes from there. The LS includes TC, so that is a plus and it's a Lincoln, so re-sale should be retained, but the Marauder is holding value above the LS right now and they are a rarer breed. I'm leaning more towards the M as they are just mean with some simple mods, and with the Lincoln, well, mods are scarce and expensive with it's exotic drivetrain. I'm just stumped on this one.
  24. Gah! I don't know what to do here. Found another Marauder and I'd love to have one. Found a sweet Lincoln LS and have always liked those as well. This one's really nice and I love the little Jag engine. Been seeing a lot of really nice Explorers rollin around and this would really come in handy for work and kids. What to do. . . . . .
  25. All are being charged off the same alt, so the starting battery should not be getting overcharged. If it is, then the other three are as well. That won't happen unless your regulator is bad either. Rotten egg smell would be attributed to fuel. How is your vehicle running? Getting less mileage lately? I am suspecting a leaky exhaust system and an over-rich condition causing the smell.
