  1. The stuff on Ebay looks like real junk. 10 pair for $200 stuff, at least the crossovers on the HTD look like they have spent at least $5 on them unlike $5 on the whole dang thing. Some more options. http://www.mcmelectronics.com/search.asp?k...mp;btnSubmit=GO
  2. Ebay
  3. SI forums is up and running! http://stereointegrity.com/forums/index.php
  4. It's all going to depend on the amp. Most two channels are class A/B and not as efficient as class D or other switching amplifiers, BUT not all monoblocks are class D either.
  5. I got some awesome new and photos today!
  6. A monoblock amp has one channel. If there are stereo outputs for speaker wires, it's all connected in parallel internally, so in your instance, the amp will see 1 ohm. If it's two channel, it's two channel, so each driver wired in parallel on each channel will present a 2 ohm load. . . . So your logic is correct. The only time this will differ is with multiple monoblocks, which are 2 or more monoblocks in one chassis. I'm sure you've heard of a dual monoblock amp? These are rare though, and expensive, so the likelihood of you coming across one is slim. Each monoblock will have it's own input, output, power supply, etc. . .
  7. looks like a nice ride Never seen that color, I like it! Agreed! Nice ride for a Chrysler! You must like Red as well. I don't get it. My favorite color is green, but when I buy vehicles, they always seem end up being red or black. Odd.
  8. For what, from where? Let me see if I can dig up an old connection. I have been able to hook up a couple people on the boards versus the typical vendors. Keep in mind thats shipping added. From Iraggi alts. Ohio gen is WAY more expensive and excessive NEVER replies. J Try here. http://www.qualitypowerauto.com/ Ohio Gen quality without their price. Their customer service is second to none as well.
  9. I have my BPX2200 in front of me right now and I can tell you it bears no similarity to the Viper. Do you have a schematic nearby, so we can talk in more detail ? Not trying to be a smartass at all, just pointing out some facts. Real facts. I have the GZ and JBL schematics to cross-check. And I also have a Viper sitting on my desk. No schematics and I wouldn't know enough to understand them anyways. I just know the components on this board and their layout in no way resemble the Viper or Orion. I can't speak for the GZ as I've not seen it. And please, do tell on the facts. I'd love to know!
  10. Looking for 18" PRs. So far, all I can remember is AE and CSS. Anyone remember any others?
  11. Amy Ried, the new princess of porn.

  15. uhhh... looks like the same old one to me EDIT: nevermind, new one is showing up now still M. Ford here I had to log out, then in, then clear my cache and it still wouldn't load the new one for me. Finally had to open up IE and do it there.
  16. Nothing like it except for results: http://www.vikingrange.com/consumer/produc...p?id=prod170058 /\ amazing smoker I don't even need to click that link. Once I see Viking, the red flag goes up. I can't even buy a Weber right now.
  17. Try an MLi in each door and I bet you'll find you won't need a sub at all.
  18. Or this will work. . . NWS, as if anyone is at work! http://www.dailyniner.com/staceydash1.shtml
  19. I'll make an album here in a minute, but I'm only going to have it up there for a few. If I set it to private nobody can view it, so, I'll post a link here shortly.
  20. Most people's issue isn't so much with their products as it is with the man behind the products. The internet forums are a very tight community, and we have been blessed, and in some instances cursed, to be able to interact with the company presidents, owners, etc, and many even have close relations with these people. The owner of eD has earned himself quite a shitty reputation outside of his own little clique.
  21. Many of us don't have really expensive gear and the few that do, have pinched pennies and scrapped the money together over time to invest in "better" equipment. The key is to be patient. If you see something you really want, it's well worth it to make a few sacrifices and save up the money and buy later. That's the beauty of this hobby. It just keeps changing. You'll get there eventually. Just start out slow and shop wisely.
  22. Stacy Dash. Got the whole Playboy spread. I was going to go with another shot, but it's bare-assed and didn't want people bitching.
  23. That amp should have no problem with 8 gauge, so those adapters should work.
  24. Stinger has 1/0 to 4 gauge and 4 gauge to 8 gauge. Unfortunately, they don't list the dimensions, so I don't know if it will fit in your hole. HA HA!
