  1. We have a ton of forums here already I am an advocate for health and wellness, but I'm not sure if a separate section it would attract enough attention. I would use it though ... and I would include pieces from my dissertation as well as actual lecture notes. YOu know, I tend to agree with you on this point, but seeing you type about working out, actually motivates me, and that is my biggest problem. I wake up ever day and I feel like shit. Then I see something you say about people being lazy and subdued when it comes to working out and it gets me off my ass. Then I go and do a little exercise and I feel great the rest of the day. If you had a blog or something I could follow everyday, that would be the biggest help in the world to me, as just your words are enough to motivate me, and it's hard for me to find motivation these days. I often sit and think back to my younger days when you could see every small hint of definition in every muscle of my body, and that gets me hyped up for a litttle bit to actually get back to that. And then I have to go and fix something, but when you start talking about it, I actually do it. I don't know why, but it's kinda like a big brother saying, "do it, or else." Perfect motivation for me. I'm sure others could use your advice and inspiration to get off their lazy asses as well. We'll call it, Dr. Captain Canada's motivational exercise (Fat, lazy Americans)!
  2. Off to list my stuff on Ebay.
  3. Monday-42 degrees Tuesday-48 degrees Today-5 degrees. These are the highs for the past 3 days. Anyone see the problem? Yesterday all the snow was finally gone. Today, my door's are frozen shut and there's 6 inches of white shit on the ground.
  4. Happy Berfday TOOBER!
  5. 35 and sunny here! the snow is finally melting. I have to laugh at days like this when it's 35 out and feels like shorts weather. Two weeks of double digit negative temps and wind chills in the 20-30 below range really make you appreciate weather slightly above freezing. Too bad it won't last.
  6. Wow, from a big ole American (Mexican/Canadian) truck, to a German car. Hmm. . Couldn't say I expected this of you Kent. Looks like a pretty fun toy though.
  7. Are going to be near a pool or out in the rain? I don't see your issue here.
  8. Happy Berfday Homie!
  9. ANy Audi/VW people out there? MY boss has a 98 A4 Quattro 1.8T for sale and I'm thinking about picking it up. It's got 120K, black leather, Blose system, all the goodies and for only $3K. Thats half of what it's worth. I figure I can drive it for a couple years and still recoup my original investment at the least, but I'm sketchy on the maintenance. I know nothing about them aside from their high price to maintain. Any help?
  10. Fuck the cold and snow.
  11. That's what it's rated at. DEI is usually right on or darn near their ratings.
  12. Congrats on your purchase! There is a search function on the board that will easily answer all your questions. For your best results, follow the specs on the website exactly. Nobody knows the driver better than Nick and what he suggests is optimum. I have messed with both size drivers in pretty much every application immagineable, so as long as you stay within his parameters, you'll be more than pleased.
  13. So spill the beans to the reps.
  14. Why can't Menards list 90% of their products on their site like Lowes and HD? I don't want to go to the damn store or have to call the damn place to find out how much a roll of insulation is. Fucking idiots.
  15. CDT. That was too easy. Got anything harder?
  16. Anyone ever installed a skylight before? I have to put a new roof on next year and would really love to add that in the bathroom and kitchen.
  17. Hyundai too. They've really stepped their game up over the past five years. Rave reviews, unbeatable warranties, and still priced below the competition. They have some really hot prototypes too.
  18. Toyota's taking over the world.
  19. It's a shame too. I like some of their vehicles, but I just could never bring myself to owning painted poop with bolts and glue. Same reason there's not a Crossfire sitting in my garage.
  20. Woman went to the doctor today and was all pissy. It appears she's caught me in the weight department and the baby only weighs 1lb. And she's got 4 months to go. HA HA! On another note, I was messing around with him the other day. Put my head down on her belly and told him if he could hear me to give me a punch. Next thing you know, I get a jab to the head. It was awesome! I know as soon as he comes out and hits the air, he'll be pissing all over the doctors.
  21. I used to do (certified) mold remediation, so I got a lick on it.
  22. I'm going OS tonight. All REO and Journey albums.
  23. Mold pisses me off. Don't know how I'm going to get by ripping by bathroom out either. I have another toilet in the house, but what to do about the tub?
  24. They're just forced air heaters; Most commonly referred to as salamanders.
  25. Another plus for SSA! Thank you Aaron and Mark! I couldn't be happier with the business we've done. It will continue in the future!
