  1. I've never studied for one second on anything in my life. H.S. or college. I've been blessed to naturally pick things up. I cannot learn anything from a teacher or school though. I have to do it on my own before I fully understand it. I was the guy who would fall asleep in every class and when it came to H.S., I was pretty much never there all-together.
  2. Shit, dB Drag world finals at Indy in October. Might just have to take a little trip down there.
  3. WHAT???? Is that english?
  4. My need, something that doesn't exist. An 8" driver with extension down to 55Hz and upwards of 2K in .4 cubes for less than $200.

Nice to see GM still using the same color code since the 70s.
  6. Laws? What are those?
  7. People are gonna shit when the new Mags come out!
  8. Time to sell some equipment. Again. . .
  9. Fuck it. . . Might as well just use the Coustic and stick it somewhere else.
  10. I really don't want to spend over $150 either, but dammit. This "budget" system has gotten so out of hand. Especially since it's being utilized in a vehicle that has ZERO chance for good sound, nor does it need it.
  11. And hard to find GOOD old crossovers for sale. There's a reason my XM7 is sitting on shelf covered in dust.
  12. Why is it so hard to find a good crossover nowadays? I hate everything being included in the HU. Makes for a pain in the ass IMO.
  13. Fucking stupid people.
  14. Night fellas.
  15. wait, he didn't realize GN's are injected? and Buick 3.8's are totally different from Chevy 3.8's IIRC, 60* vs 90* Do some more research. Not all the turbo Buick 3.8s were injected. really? did the early ones use a computer controlled Q-jet or something? interesting, never seen one without injection before 84 or 85 should have been the first year for injection. 82 was the first year for the GN, but the turbo regal first appeared in 79 I believe. No turbo cars were made in 83 and the GN came back in 84. Surprisingly, I know a lot about the turbo Buicks and other G-bodies. I have owned several Regals and Cutlasses and have been searching for a nice turbo regal/Gn for some time. There's a nice big G-body forum with a ton of cool rides and knowledgeable members if you ever get interested in them. Good info. I've always liked the G-bodies, and I definitely wouldn't mind owning one at some point (especially a GN). Pontiac also had a GTA with the turbo 3.8 too. It was 87 I believe. IIRC they were Indy Pace cars. They were quicker and faster than the IROCs and a little heavier to boot.
  16. My second car was an 85 Cutlass and that car taught me all about the small block Chevy. the 3.8 took a shit, and the old man had a 350 for it, but needed a rebuild. He said the only way I was getting it was if I built it myself. And I did. Had to clean the plugs every week too. Didn't have enough money left to get the heads done and well, the valve seals were shot, so the plugs got fouled rather quickly. It was a fun ride though. I had the fastest car in school, and coincidentally the loudest.
  17. Aight, I really need to go to bed now. DSL is too slow for DLing porn.
  18. I will someday, but now my work focus will be West which won't help. helps me True, have to find hi-tech companies nearby and come hit them there's a pretty decent tech industry here AFAIK Honeywell, Intel, Rockford Fosgate, Mitek are a few that come to mind Funny Honeywell Tempe is buying a system because of the work I did at the MN Honeywell. Come to the Honeywell here. And visit Bosch while you're at it. Two companies who are helping to keep South Bend alive. Would be cool to see your Jolly big ass again.

  20. Time for my ass to hit the sack.
  21. Sweet, but I'm afraid it's going to be a disappointing season for you my friend. . . . Again. . .
  22. Shit, nevermind, that won't fit my mounting location. Screwed again.
  23. Dammit. Sean, you ready to come off that Coustic yet?
  24. I need to pay more attention to the equipment I buy. I thought this crossover had 3 inputs, but not. I need 3 to take advantage of the subwoofer output on the preamp.
