  1. Be safe Dr. Captain!
  2. Hurry up you slow bastard! BTW, before you put anything back in place, make sure you have a liberal coat of grease on the poly part of the bushings wherever they'll meet something or you'll get squeaks. I'm still trying to rid all of mine. Also, use some antiseize on the inside bushing sleeves to prevent the bolts from rusting on them if you ever need to pull them apart.
  3. It communicates via USB, but there are also some contacts on the bottom when it is slid into it's housing in the vehicle. I think that may be for power though. I have no idea what my computer is formatted as. I told you I don't know jack about computers. I found this site: http://members.cox.net/techfire/omnifi/dmp1/harddrive.html and followed the directions and I'm stuck on the file renaming part because I cannot get it to show up on my computer. If I plug the old harddrive back in it works fine though.
  4. Nick has the optimal enclosures listed on the site.
  5. First off, I don't know much about computers so take that into consideration when replying please. Anyways, my new harddrive came in for my OmniFi. I pulled the old one out, plugged the new one in, partitioned it for FAT32, plugged it into my Omnifi, and well, it creates a file called "\USR\newroot.xml", but it need's to be "\USR\root.xml" instead. Now, everything went fine until I plugged it back into my computer to change the file name. I cannot find the drive on my computer anywhere. It does not show up on the My Computer tab, but if I go to "safely remove hardware," it shows up. Anyone know what my problem is and how to fix it? Thanks in advance!
  6. Yes to all of the above. Whatever will work best for you. King Alpha, SQL is a term we find non-existent on this forum, so every time you type SQL, it comes out as LSQ. It's a filter.
  7. Well, technically RE did NOT make the Mags, but they were built in the same buildhouse that builds drivers for RE. I don't know what that has to do with anything anyways. The Mazda 6 is built on the same assembly line as the Ford Mustang. . . What does that tell you? Absolutely nothing. I haven't heard the Comp VXs, but knowing Kicker, I'm sure they're performers.
  8. The Mag D2 is the end-all-be-all of subwoofers. That's my opinion and I will stick to it for life.
  9. What do you need them for anyways ? I no longer have any. My brother just built a house and I used them up. I am not installing anything at the moment. If you can wait until Saturday, I can have you order my Neo 8s as well, and then just pay you the total shipped from your place. As in BG Neo 8s? Where are you going to put those? He He He. . . . . . . Wait and see.
  10. I've heard plenty of stinking loud Comp VRs. Don't buy into all this Xmax talk. Xmax tells you nothing about a drivers capability. God, when are people going to get over this?
  11. You can get by with the 2.5 on the Mag. Many people are running them in 2.5, BUT for OPTIMAL results, go with what Nick suggests on the site.

  13. Women. WTF? I love you, no I don't, I love you again, no I don't. FUCK!
  14. Dennis FUCKING P!
  15. See how this one is. It uses two sides of the enclosure.
  16. No no, you don't need it on both sides. I'm saying it will be an L shape and use two sides of the enclosure. Let me see if I can find a picture for you.
  17. Correct, you measure right down the middle. You can fudge a little bit too as the small difference will be negligible. You should have enough room for a simple "L" shaped vent, so you can run it along 2 sides of the enclosure.
  18. The vent arrangement will be dictated by the actual enclosure and driver placement. You will have to place it in the enclosure any way you can get it to fit. It seems you may be just shy of available space to use an L-shape, although that could easily be remedied by shortening the vent a hair or bringing your vent area down a little as you are still on the high side. For a daily driver you want about 12-15 square inches per cubic foot. Being as you have the room, I'd also suggest bumping your net volume up to 4 cubes.
  19. I really need to slow down on my drinking.
  20. First off you have WAY too much vent area. I don't see how your vent is going to take up almost 2.5 cubic feet either, even at that size. How much room do have available to you. I'd go for what is recommended on the site at 4 cubes and about 60 square inches of vent area.
  21. There WAS a thread with a photo of a Mag proto a short while ago, but that driver did NOT make the cut.
  22. Ok. Breaktime is over!
  23. Glassing in thick fog is koo! I can see the water falling down the resin!
  24. Guide coat is good to find these problems before paint.
  25. Stupid question. Chevelle wins every time!
