  2. I'd help ya out, but mine are at my new house and I'm not there. I know Nick has poster this before, but our search function leaves a lot to be desired.
  3. it's been sitting for about 2 years i think so my friend and i are going to see if we can start it new battery, oil, air and oil filters, starting fluid, and carb cleaner all ready to go Don't forget some fresh gasoline. Car looks great! Very solid foundation.
  4. OY!
  5. You've piqued my interest. I'll take one of the samples.
  6. Time to pack some more stuff.
  7. The breast pump move is awesome though. Wonder if, err, nevermind.
  8. I'm gonna have to disagree there. Same we know: 1 watt = 0.00134102209 hp HP=RPM x Torque/5252 To simplify we will use 5252 rpms as a baseline as all engines should be able to spin at that rate with decent power Therefore 0.00134102209 (watts) = Torque If we assume 100ft lbs then 100/ 0.00134102209 = x Watts = 74,500 watts If we assume that by a ricer we will have someone claim peak watts at some unreal thd I think that the statement is then correct. That doesn't work. You can't relate horsepower and torque as equals. Horsepower is work over time, so 1HP which equals 746 watts also = 550ft.lbs. per sec. Bastard, pulling out technicalities on me. I was going to leave it in HP. I understood what you were conveying. I just well, wanted to be an ass I guess. Sorry.
  9. SO I got dismissed from Jury Duty. When asked if I was concerned about anything, I told them, that I had a problem with the defendant not taking the stand. I understand the premise of innocent until PROVEN guilty, but in my mind, if you ARE innocent, then you will do everything in your power to reaffirm your innocence and to let everyone know your side of the story. I was told I cannot think that way for the trial, so I guess I won't work for them. Oh well.

  11. Hell, even if you don't like the way they sound, they are some very nice eye candy.
  12. Should be 'net' not 'gross.'Isn't Net air space, what your sub has to use after port/sub/brace disp??? Least thats the way I've always thought about it. Gross was total air space and net was total air space that the sub uses... Just trying to clarify... Jon Yes, just like when you get a check, the number before taxes is your gross. Take away the taxes (damn government pigs) and that is the net.
  13. AFAIK, only Nick, Jake, Chad, and Lloyd have heard it.
  14. I am with you up until the last six words. IMO, lowend extension is far from necessary for competition. I don't know how the SQ guys do, but I am sure a fat bottom end is far from good for them. AFAIK, they shoot for a flatter OVERALL response with not so much SPL in the way of low bass. As far as the SPL guys go, they are tuning much much higher than even normal daily driving needs. Hell, I've seen some of them even peaking upwards of 70Hz. They are concerned about a small passband actually and in many cases just looking for that peak at one note, in one spot (the most exciting to the meter). I do agree with the rest though. I often wonder why I see some people tuning a car auding application in the low 20s or below. After you throw that thing in the vehicle, it's nothing more than a headache. Most "normal" applications whom use this sort of alignment, EBS persay, are not happy with the end product. IT's an exagerrated lowend that almost always needs EQ work, unless you like your eardrums bloody. Transfer function is a beautiful thing, but sometimes it can bite you in the ass.
  15. Off to jury duty I go. . . .
  16. YOu know, stupid people really complicate my life. Especially when said stupid person is my girl's baby daddy. I swear, if I didn;t love the kid, I would just PWN this fucker. He won't say shit to my face, he won't say shit on the phone, but he'll send me these little shit-talking myspace messages. Damn, it sucks to be mature. I just laugh this asshole off, but when he starts fucking with my girl and telling her girl all this shit about me, I just lose it. I don't know how much longer I can be the bigger man.
  17. Every time I hang out with Dave and Ramos it's an education on late '80s/early '90s rap Still waiting to hear "My Hooptie" on an SQ demo disc... You know you love it . Hy hooptie will be the tonality song on the sq disc Buttermilk biscuits will be to test for stage placements MY hooptie, rollin, tailpipe draggin, heat don't work and my girl keeps naggin. Mix-a-Lot is still pimpin.
  18. No frontstage pics?
  19. Jury duty on Tuesday.
