  1. My cobra. I didn't want to do anything nutty cuz it's actually pointless. The car is super loud, it rides like a rock, and is not comfortable to ride in atall. I intended to do a very budget-friendly musical install just to get a little better than factory sound and it's turned into a full blown nut. Think it's time to sell some stuff and go back to what I intended.
  2. You know, everytime I plan a simple install it ends up getting super complex. Why the fuck can't I just leave well enough alone?

Indeed they can. I inquired about my USA425. Flakko told me they can do it no problem. Unfortunately, I have no use for it, and noone seems to want it either. Damn shame too because it's in MINT condition. Mine, like yours, show Zero signs of problems on the board.
  4. Almost forgot. The girl started bleeding the other day. Guess it was a false-positive on the preggo test. Makes my life much simpler.
  5. The only thing I've EVER REALLY wanted to do was play baseball. Unfortunately, when HS came around, I had to get a job to support myself as the parents mandated it, and sports went bye-bye. After school, I got into an electrical apprenticeship. Got screwed out of that by the company AND my union. Was not happy, did NOT want to do the electrical thing again due to all the political BS around here. Then I got into the automotive field which I have been involved in since birth. Wanted to be a mechanic. I LOVED to work on cars, until I did it everyday. After that, I never wanted to work on my own shit. So, that went by the wayside. Now I have my maintenance job and I love it. I get to dabble in everything and I'm my own boss, so it's really tough to beat. The pay could be better, but on a whole scope, nothing else I've ever done can compete with what I'm doing now. I'd still love to be a porn star though.
  6. So do I as long as it's a monoblock.
  7. I hate working on existing fixtures. Especially built before the 70s.
  8. Spent all day working on the V6. Was fun. Spent some money on that bitch, but she runs like new! Then got on to the paint which was in seriously bad shape. Two runs with the clay bar and all the shit was off it. Buffed out the oxidation, and put a couple coats of polish on it and she looks GREAT! All that's left to do is wax and an engine detail and it's good to go, but I might hold off on that as a SC swap might be in the works.. Best $300 I've spent to date.
  9. Get well little man!
  10. Pics of course, and those cars look great in red. Sounds like a deal to me. LS1 power in a plastic-bodied car = fun.
  11. Gonna be a daddy. Such horrible timing.
  12. My life = poop.
  13. SWEET!
  14. Nice to see you again, and YGPM.
  15. I get a slow load every now and then. Pun intended.
  16. Dennis, are you high?
  17. 1 mile sounds good to me - similar benefits and such? Job offers all over this board lately - I just got a nice one for May through the end of August. It isn't an offer anymore, though ... because I took it. Well I just left Scandia (Naval Contractor) for this job. Took a pay cut (about 8.5k), 1/2 the commute (not far from amanda), great benifits, better boss, much better atmosphere. own office etc. This new job offer is at an Army contractor, off base right next to my home almost, great benifits, equal to if not better money than what I was making at the Naval Contractor, doing back what I was doing at the research lab. I worry because the current job fought pretty hard to bring me in, and they have really put a lot of responsibilty on my shoulders along with heading up upgrading and improving development and CAD software. I would hate to bolt on two different jobs back to back for a 3rd after many streaches in the past have a great deal of trouble finding just one, and even the ones I found were way below my skill set or schooling. Don't worry about the company you're at now. Trust me, no matter how hard you work for them, they will NEVER hesitate to fire you if the need arises. And they won't feel bad about it either. Take the new job if you want to and don't worry about backing out on others. It's just the way it goes.
  18. Hell, even an old one will work well with that power.
  19. JB weld doesn't help. Even Resin doesn't help. The key to getting T-nuts to work with MDF is to NOT use them in MDF. Use a different type of insert, OR put another type of wood behind the baffle where the T-nuts will go. Plywood, harwood, or OSB work great for this. They provide a better "bite" for the T-nuts and are not prone to separation like the manufactured woods such as PB and MDF.
  20. Fuck Fuck Fuck.
  21. Money sent for a pair.
  22. Weird shit. I email CV about the old school XLs, and get a mailer Daemon. Send one to their other address, same thing. Tried every address they list on their site, and all were returned. How do they operate? Or DO they still operate?
  23. I'm waiting patiently. Kinda glad I didn't pull the trigger on the MAWs yet.
  24. Second amp, more powerful amp, etc. . .
  25. Anything cool going on? Triple-homicide/suicide? Will I see you getting interviewed on Montel Williams ? Armed assault...I think. So far we are stuck in the questioning and selecting the jury stage. Two days of absolutely nothing. I go next month. Fucking bullshit using BMV records too. There's more than one reason I don't vote, now I think I'll stop driving.
