Pause?
I think a lot of the pause buttons are on the remote controls and not the actual units themselves.

You know, I put no basis on Scott's accomplishements in SQ. IASCA is SO political it's not even funny. I have no doubt he makes a great product and is a great guy, but ah, screw it. I'm just sick of seeing people cry. Grow some balls. How'd you like sifting through that mess? Funny thing is, I never put much emphasis on graphs either. I have seen one too many drivers plot shitty in many areas, yet enjoyed the way they sound. NP knows what he is talking about and described the sound of the driver. Simple as that.

Loctite is always good on stuff you want to make sure WON'T come loose. These small torque increments are lending me to believe the manual is written for an aluminum spindle, which you obviously do not have.

Tighten the hub nut until there is a little bit of drag on the bearings, then back the nut of 1/8-1/4 turn and put the keeper on the castle nut and install the cotter pin. Don't put too much emphasis on the torque rating.

I need help on a new box for a 12" Mag
Do you have the Mach 460 setup? If so, you'll have to remove that. Also, as far as pushing it through the seat opening, I don't think you'll be able to do that. I know the openings on both my SN95s are less than 12" and the driver's outer diameter is 12.5", so you;d have to build a slanted enclosure to cut down on the height. I'll go out later today and measure up the trunk in the Sixxer, and throw something together for ya.

You can get away with a prefabbed enclosure, but it will not, unless there is a custom enclosure available, contour to your specific vehicle. If you go this route, just do some homework and make sure it is of adequate quality and construction. An alternative is to have one built. Wood is cheaper than glass and easier to work with. There are MANY enclosure builders throughout the forum whom build great enclosures. This may better suit you as you can tailor the enclosure to your specific application.

What made it not a woofer? Not a traditional woofer, but it was a woofer non-the-less. It's design was simply to move air which is exactly what a woofer does, albeit by electromechanical means and over a desired frequency range. The only means they had available to change frequency was the Engine RPMs. Also, linearity would have no effect on pressure levels, just distortion figures.

That's cheap for a glass enclosure if you ask me. I'm assuming the enclosure will follow suit.

We may have a few members in the area that would be able to help you. As for the L7s, I really cannot comment. My only L7 experience is with a pair of 10s. Also, they are really nothing alike.

If you have a good mechanical aptitude, you could accomplish this yourself. Given you have the tools and knowledge. Any reputable audio shop should be able to handle the install though. Just do your homework before choosing a shop in your area. The best part of owning a system is doing your own work, IF you can. YOu have come to the perfect place for help and gaining knowledge, so don't count yourself out yet. Welcome to the forum!

You know, people bitch about George buying up all the talent, but if you think about it, not only is he getting good players, he's taking them AWAY from a possible opponent. Wise business move if you ask me, and anymore, that's exactly what baseball has become. ALso, we all know if another team had the same capital and drive as The Boss, they would be doing the same damn thing. Boston is starting to get more like them everyday, yet people still only complain about the Yankess. I've been a Yanks fan since I knew what baseball was, and dammit, this actually pisses me off. I prefer the Yanks to use their farm system and work with players bringing them up and having a team of NOT OUTSTANDING players, but a bunch of great players. Just like they were in the mid to late 90s. No one player truly stood out, yet as a team, they were unstopable. Same think with the pale Sox last year. As for the Rivera part, yes, the fastball is all he has, but man, when you see that damn pitch in person, you have to look twice cuz he throws so damn hard, you can barely see the ball. I can't believe guys can even hit him. Bobby Jenks is next to do this. I don't know why that guy even bothers to throw an off speed pitch. His speed is blinding. Just does not seem at all in the spirit of the game, but who cares about that anymore right? Let the player make the mistake and learn somewhere else, then when he is ready offer him more money than he has ever seen and drain everything you can out of him then toss him off like a used rag. IF I didn't love baseball so much, the politics would be enough to make me never watch it. That's why I LOVE college basketball, and only watch the NBA in the playoffs. I love to watch the guys who just play cuz they love it and are striving to get better every minute. I will use the highest payed player in BB as an example though. He didn't ASK for that money, it was offered to him. IMO, there was NO WAY IN HELL he could refuse that offer. Frankly, I think he has not been happy since leaving Seattle. He seemed the happiest there, and almost like he really wants to go back. We'll see what happens once the contract is up. He really can't have any need for more money, so I believe his heart will weigh more in his decision on where to sign next. FYI, I read somewhere that the Yankees make enough money just in just merchandising alone in the first half of the season to pay player salaries. Can you imagine exactly just how much money George is making per season, not to mention they are selling merchandise non stop.

No really, I'm done on this cuz I could throw some shit out here.

THis is nothing abnormal or uncommon. Cheaper and easier to deal with than another piece of material (read HUB). Looks to me like your pad broke. I don't see any rivets on the pads, so that's not where the groove came from.
