Like I said, he very well may have seen the 1900 on a TEST BENCH. You can't realistically expect the same exact results in the vehicle.

I did NOT notice any distint sound to the W7. I also have not heard ANY SE that can even come close to a W6V2 or W7. IMO, the SE is nothing more than a budget minded beater. I wouldn't ever use it in a sentence relating to SQ or any premise of some. IT can sound great for what it is, but I PERSONALLY don't feel it belongs anywhere near the W6 whatever series. I really liked the W7 a LOT, but when it comes down to it, only the Mag could do everything I asked of it. It ALWAYS sounds great, is adaptable to any application I can imagine for it, takes abuse like a tanks, and dammit, it just looks great.

I wouldn't worry about it too much UNLESS you are hitting the meter. You'll never hear that difference in power, but the mic may pick it up. Keep in mind a bench test is setup mostly to be an ideal situation, to extract ever ounce of potential out of the amp. Amp on a bench and amp in an install are not quite the same. Also keep in mind that anyone can throw out numbers. The only way to know what is true for your application is to do it yourself. I have no doubt in my mind that he's seen 1900 watts out of one of these. I also have no doubt that they can be pushing 1500 continuous as well given the proper circumstances.

YOu can use whatever you want for vents. A slot vent would be cheapest and easiest, but depending on tuning, they can take up quite a bit of volume and necessitate a rather large enclosure.
