If you want MAX SPL, don't expect your daily driving to be pleasant atall. I think you mean you want it as loud as you can get it musically.

What size enclosure and power? Lower power, you'll be fine. I was thinking 2ft^3 gross and prob 6-700W. You'll need more vent area.

Slow? 13.3 quarter and 5.2 0-60 is hardly slow. May not be a Z06 but it'll plant your ass in the seat. GTOs didnt get the LS6, that is the old Z06 motor. the new goats and base vettes get the LS2. the new Z06 has the LS7 My bad, LS2. Anyways, 13.3 in the quarter? Really? I've raced a few in my Cobra and blown them away. Slow in my book as my car isn't very fast atall, nor is it quick by any means.

No, and their site is horrible, and you can't get any info out of them from email. Only way to get any info is via a dealer. They are super-strict.

Both programs will be off a little or right on. Doing the hard math on paper will deliver the true results. I usually use BB as a means to get what I need as far as volume and and tuning is concerned and then double check and fine tune by hand. It's just simpler for me to use the program to get everything close first instead of just starting from scratch. Either way, with the negligable difference in lenghts, tuning won't be altered much; tenths to hundredths, and your ear will never notice the difference.

Kent, have you taken the cover off the tailgate? I showed this to another friend who has the same vehicle and he was really interested in it, but was looking for a little more than a single 8. My next venture will be to remove the tailgate panel and see how much room is in there and how feasible it will be for an enclosure.

You're going to laugh at me, but if you're interested in a cheap tire that actually performs very well, check out the Kuhmo Ecsta MX. I have the Supra 712s on my car now, which I hate, but they lasted a good 20,000 miles with me burning them damn near every chance I get. I drive the car hard as well. Anyways, my old man got a deal on the Ecsta MXs which are their top of the line model, and for the $125 he paid for each tire, I'd put them up there with some of the Pirelli, and Yokos I've run.
