  1. I have no experience with ANY of them sealed exception the Gcon 12s. They perform very sell in 1 cube sealed. I don't know what the 10s work well in, but if you follow SSA's recommendations, you'll be fine. If you want to run ID, go with the IDQ. They perform flawlessly in small sealed enclosures. I'd also stray away from Woofers Etc and try and find an authorized dealer.
  2. Just ordered a Blaupunkt for the Audi. No Android Auto, but it has BT and GPS based Nav, so it should suffice. It was only $165, so I figured why not. I can always sell if I don't like it.
  3. Welcome to the forum! I've built 5 F-bodies a couple times over and have a lot of experience with them. Given the enclosure and the drivers listed, you're going to have a very bass heavy system. From your description of what you're looking to accomplish, I'll think you'll find only one sub is necessary. You can use dual subs, but IMO, it's just a waste of money and space. Of the drivers listed, they are all GREAT drivers. Your budget will be blown if you go the Icon or IDMax route though. Hell, I've never seen an IDMax for less than $400, and honestly, I'd pick the IDQ over it every day.
  4. The Sync2 should handle what you need. Just get an aftermarket processor if you need to tinker. Do a search for ForScn and you can defeat the factory processing also.
  5. 2013 is SYNC2. SYNC3 is a HUGE upgrade! Alpine user to sell drop-in HUs for newer Ford and GM trucks. Do they not offer them anymore?
  6. Just titled and plated the Audi. It cost me nothing and I have $200 coming back my way. That's the difference between an '03 A4 and a '16 Mustang.
  7. How does it do with Android Auto? I only want it for phone and maps. Music I do via flash drive.

  9. SO. . . . . . . . . . . . BRIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. That leaves Fiat or Alfa.
  11. Is it British or Japanese?
  12. Come on now. In America, bigger is better! In no other country do trucks outsell cars. In no other country do they have the societal/ego/esteem/material issues the US suffers from. Ah, fuck, I'll stop there. Daily I see roads crowded with pickups with empty beds and large SUVs occupied by only the driver. The pickup market is flooded by 6.5' beds and crew cabs. They're nothing more than people haulers and status symbols anymore.
  13. Wait, nevermind. . 2.7 wasn't available until 2015.
  14. Which one?
  15. I should have quoted. I was speaking of files, not money, though I hope to keep it under $500.
  16. I don't have anywhere near that amount to play. I plan on using my PPI processor. Messing around today, the trunk is designed so I can integrate a sub, amp rack, and reserve battery with zero lost space. The doors will allow me to build nearly any way I want and I read about white paper many years ago on Phillips opsoidis or something like that, so I'd like to try that out.
  17. Dammit, I have to buy a head unit now. Think I'll go with something with Android auto. I really liked the integration with the 6 and the Mustang.
  18. I was shopping for a pickup or a touring, but this thing came along, the price is right, and gas keeps rising, so I figured why not?
  19. 03 A4 1.8T 5speed.
  20. New daily
  21. Oddly enough, they'll quickly throw you keys to a Vette.
  22. $6K buys a NASTY 4 rotor.
  23. The truck swaps are the only feasible swaps. The F-body, GTO, or Vette swaps are still at least $4K just for the drivetrain and electronics. Add in the rest of it and you're easily past $6K, and that's doing all the work yourself.
  24. I love the LS, but LS swaps are like my baby momma; everybody's doing it.
