  1. That $120+ would have been better spent on English lessons. Sweet deal man!
  2. I feel for ya, but it's not an undertaking I would want to do. I just don't think it's worth the effort. Seems your best option would be to find another spot for the woofer(s). Personally, I would attemp and IB or custom enclosure door install with some 8s or 10s before trying to create a seal on the hatch area. A wall is a different story though if you're thinking anything in this route.
  3. You can mount it next to the plexi, just as long as it is beaming into it. When you get them, just hook them up to a small 12V PS and play around with them to see how they work in relation to the lighting effect you desire.
  4. Night.
  5. Now where have I seen that before?
  6. I wouldn't even want to attempt it. Best bet is to stick to a regular enclosure. The hassle to pull this off effectively in a hatch is not beneficial IMO. Are you just looking to gain space?
  7. You got rid of the JBL for that???!!!
  8. Battery will help you none. Big 3, if that does nothing, you need a better alternator. Then you can look into a better battery.
  9. If you don't need it, don't use it. ME, I absolutely HATE Pioneer. This stems from my teenage years and constantly having problems with every deck I've ever used. I would like the P9, or ODR combo though. Different league than any Pioneer stuff. I am a BIG Sony fan, but only of the Mobile ES stuff, which they don't make anymore. And only the higher end of it. The lower end ES stuff is crap. Eclipse, well, I have yet to use a bad one. HAd a couple Denon decks. Were nice, but not worht the extra $$$ IMO. I could go on forever with this.
  10. Depends on the effect you want. I'm taking it you just want the DLS illuminated. If that's the case, one LED should do you fine and you will need a resistor. Mount the LED so that it is beaming into the side of the plexi. If you want to use Red, Blue, or Green, let me know. I have some ultra-bright ones and plenty of resistors to go around too. I'll just send them in the mail. Save you from wasting money on buying some and having them shipped or gas to go to the Shack or parts store.
  11. Just bought a 6 channel MA amp for a buddy. I hope it's a decent amp.
  12. Left. Damn this place is loading SLOW.
  13. Right.
  14. It's actually about 11-3/32". Not a big deal though. Drop a line here with what you're looking for and I'll see what I can do, OR post a thread in the TEAMSSAUDIO section.
  15. I've seen Ant do it both ways. One install he posted on SIN was liquid, mat, then liquid again. It was an extreme case, but just goes to show. I, personally use liquid, then mat. Haven't had any problems with the SS stuff.
  16. Different regulators will output different voltages as well. A factory set regulator will be anywhere from 14.2-14.9V. Adjustable ones are just that.
  17. I would worship you til death! You better eat your Wheaties!
  18. He'd have to get 2. They only do 3-way stereo or 4-way mono.
  19. Damn, how did I miss this thread? Sweet looking so far. Giving me ideas as I'm building new panels from scratch.
  20. Yup.
  21. i'm guessing no, there is no wind passing over/under the wings which is how lift is created, not by the actual speed of the plane. Agreed.
  22. That's sweet. You should've said something earlier. I could have gotten you some silver plated copper buss bar for that. Better conductivity and corrosion free, though I'm sure you won't have a problem.
  23. I bought my plunge on Ebay for $19 3 years ago and it hasn't skipped a beat yet. Best buy IMO.
  24. Sweetness! Hurry up and listen to it.
