  1. Also, as far as the power and grounds, if the amp has a single power supply, which I doubt, then one hookup will be fine, assuming you can fit a cable in there large enough to support the load. I'm assuming it has dual power supplies though and each one is probably fed independently hence the dual inputs.
  2. I just use a standard SPDT relay and use the remote for the sense lead, and will just parallel all my remote wires off the switched output of the relay.. Speaking of relays, I have a technical thread I need to post in the advanced section.
  3. Awesome work my friend.
  4. I've always been fond of BMW's choice in wheels. I am really keen on the new X5 20s. They are so elegant, yet subtle. I love it.
  5. I find it amazing how you can detail this. Man, everytime I get in a fight, I really have no clue what's going on. It's like it starts one minute, then it's over. I've never been able to actually recall the events of a fight except for the beginning and aftermath. I've had people tell me I've done something, or had something done to me, and I can't see it in my mind. Weird.
  6. No luck necessary. My girl is super-easy! She's into chicks too. Every new girl is freakier than the previous one. I love it! :icon_punani:
  7. I don't know why, but I thought you had crossflow fans. Either way, you are correct on what I'm saying. I don't know if it will matter or not, but I would assume it would be better to have one fan on each amp blowingin opposite dircetions, instead of 2 at one end blwoing one way.
  8. I can agree with that on some fronts. I will never go higher than 65 in-car, but it all regards the application. In-home, I'm right around 42-45 depending on the components. It is afterall a SUBwoofer. And all this hype about the Type-R, really, why in the hell would I base my purchase on SPL numbers? That would be like going out and buying a MonteCarlo cuz Tony Stewart is going to win the NASCAR championship driving one. On another note, I have some experience with the Pioneer 305DVCs and they are half the price of the Type-R and I know they can easily get loud to the ear. Time to start another boner?
  9. I can't wait to see this build come along.
  10. Dennis, how about a photo of said amprack. Ideally you want a vent for the hot air to escape fan or no fan. That being said, I would definately put a vent on the opposite side of the fans. Now, this is assuming you have an open channel for the air to flow the entire way down the length of the rack. I don't know exactly how you have it set up, so I'm just making assumptions here. Personally, if I were doing it, I would probably have an amp on either side, which I'm assuming you do, then I would put the fans in the middle, one blowing ine way, the other blowing the other, so as to have one fan per amp and blowing in opposite directions. Reason being would be to alleviate the hot air from one amp blowing onto the other before exiting the vent if they are both at one end. Get what I'm saying?
  11. I like it so far. Can't wait to see the finale.

  18. It snowed Yesterday pretty bad. I hate the first snow of the year. People forget how to drive, and they already do bad enough around here.
  19. I hate snow.
  20. Yeah, this is my beater. It had a bad tranny when I picked it up, but it ran so good, and is clean as hell, so I couldn't resist the $200 pricetag.
  21. Almost got my alt together, but a bad diode in the rectifier. Bastards!
  22. My big one is the lead dust and shot from the wheelabrator at work. I can taste lead for days.
