  1. Uh oh...LOL They were a little dirty from sitting in the garage. I didnt want to clean them and risk messing the red surround/finish on them. Sorry man. It's all good. It's just clear now and they look exactly like the color that the cone is. Better if you ask me.
  2. Then why did Michael buy the monkey?
  3. why were you trying to polish a cone.... ALL about the bling.
  4. Note to self: Chrome plating on plastic subwoofer cone comes off with chrome polish. End note.
  5. Did you get the subs? or was it the speakers? Subs. Thanks! BTW, let me know what I owe. Nothing Right on! Thanks! You just earned yourself a nice Christmas present.
  6. If you ever want to do a cross reference, or find out any info on an alt, go to: www.transpo-usa.com OR www.waiglobal.com You'll find ALMOST all the info you'll ever need.
  7. For your year. 165 amp standard on the diesel ambulance.
  8. Got all my parts ordered for my alt today. 200 amps, 130at idle, regulator set for 14.9, all for under $90. Next up is a 350 amp dual rectifier setup.

  11. Damn, where'd you find them that cheap?
  12. WILLY WATERBUG! Now I remember.
  13. Hey, did anyone have a sprinkler when they were a child that looked like a little yellow man and it's hairs would whip around spraying water? I can't remember the name of the damn thing for the life of me. Need some help.
  14. A/B amp doing 840mono @2ohms with 40 amps of fusing???!!! HIGHLY doubt it.
  15. I was surprised by a nice package awaiting me today.
  16. A part number will do as well.
  17. As long as you are careful with it. No clipping and no abuse and you'll be fine. In the center console though, I can GUARANTEE you won't even need that absurd amount of power. Try it with low power first and see how you like it. You'll be surprised. If it's not enough, change the coil wiring and get the 1K. Adjust the gain accordingly.
  18. Send me a photo of the door handles. I have contacts.
  19. I forgot who it was, but someone posted a thread about cheap tweets and they said to go to PAC parts and input the model number for the Alpine F1 status component set which we all know uses some tweaked Scan-Speak models. Anyways, Do this. The 5.25" Rev is an awesome driver and I think they have it listed for somewhere in the neighborhood of $50-$60 a piece. CA&E did a review of high $ compontent sets a while ago and all but the Alpine set had 6.5" drivers, yet they said the Alpine was the best of the bunch in tonality, midrange and bass extension. Can't beat the price either.
  20. Coustic is all I will use. System design will determine which unit, along with availability as the best Coustic units are no longer made. Squeak has one of them.
  21. Have to also factor in efficiency, voltage drop, impedance, etc. Fuse rating will give an INDICATION of the POSSIBLE power output if they are the correct fuses. Like TechSys said, ballpark figure is your best bet.
  22. Port tuning will be determined by area and length, and enclosure volume. As for you other question, yes, you can.
  23. Overall diameter is 12.5" Can't help you on the rest as I have a different basket and I'm sure the measurements aren't the same.
