The old drivers were amazing in their own right. The new ones are much improved in every facet. Of course, they are also more expensive. At that price, I would pick up the older driver. If you don't like it, you can always resell it. You could also have a recone done with the new parts which will also improve the driver in respect to the performance now. Worst case scenario, you get an awesome driver at a cheap price which you can later resell and upgrade to the newest offering. IMO, the old driver cannot stand up to the new ones. I didn't think they could be improved upon, but Nick's done it.

BassBox has it's own tutorial utility. It would be futile to try and explain it anyways. Don't have enough time for all it's features. Check the manual.

Being as how you will have to have a shop do the work, I would say anywhere from $3K to $10K. Labor is costly and they will generally have a markup on materials.

Don't forget the dreaded LT1 intake leak. Not a real big deal, but they are quite common..

Nope it's a D2. The seller sent me pictures to confirm it But it's still an older version. They are all D2 BTW.
